宏利只是教他們一些學習心得，如何反覆認字。
如用 mind map，將詞語或字用咭寫好，每日逐些記一些新的，又溫習一些舊的。
他們也提議可用電腦幫助他們寫report、speech等。
上課帶他玩下遊戲，小朋友都好開心。
本來說有些延續班，但不知後來為何無開辦？

my excel file is print out & let him to read.  but you also can use powerpoint to prepare words in the pc, as large as in full screen.  it should be help.  but i like use flash card to assist my boy rather than in pc.  since can use anytime.

How can I know if my daughter has讀寫障礙?

I have doubted she had even when she was young but she has been checked in gov't health center which said she was alright.

However, she is so hard to pay attention to her homework and so easy to forget, it makes life more and more difficult when she goes to higher & higher  level of school.  After reading the description in this forum, I begin to think that she really has讀寫障礙.

she is 8 years old now.

協康會 also do the assessment for 8 yrs old kid.
for your girl, if only hard to pay attention to her homework and easy to forget.  is not like 讀寫障礙.
hv your find her slow & poor in writing, hard to spell a word.  or even can't dry her face towel after washing her face every morning?  If not may be the way of teaching & learning hv some problems.  not for the girl herself :wink:

Thanks gongonmama, powerpoint is really a good idea! How about "Flash Card", is it sth like using white card and read-->cover-->spell as taught by e.d. dept?

My girl is alright in writing but in spelling, hard to remember but easy to forget.
I guess she may not have 讀寫障礙 but 感覺統合?? or just as you said, a teaching or learning process??but I have tried many ways to motivate her learning and encourgage her to do thing quicker, on time , don't 拖拖拉拉...etc....still fail. I feel more and more 無力 in handling all these as she growing up and her father believe she is just too lazy. I'm afraid it will end in a bad relationship among us.

據我所知, 宏利一年開三次工作坊, 通常在長假期 (復活節, 暑假, 聖誕節), 一連三~五日, 平均大約$500 per day, 內容包括評估, 遊戲, 話劇, 睇VCD, 家長講座等等, 我個仔上個復活節參加了一次, 佢最享受係自編自導自演話劇, 最後一天可在台上表演, 和可以在理工大學內和小朋友一起食午餐, 至於成效, 一次或者未知, 只可說增加了他一次成功感, 經驗下自己都可以做到些東西出來, 那是平時學校中無機會試的, DR LAI 係一個好有心的教育家, 可惜我看不到佢地好有系統地發展呢樣野, 行政方面比較混亂, 宣傳也不足, 好似幾浪費資源, (純粹個人觀感).

因為仔仔明年升小學，上星期下葵涌智能測驗中心約左返去見臨床心理學家，我見佢枱頭d文件寫住"韋氏"字樣．但心理學家係分別單獨見我同仔仔，每人約一個小時，所以唔多清楚仔仔果部份．之後有口頭講解下結果，但報告就好簡單．

Dear all,
My son is 4 years and 7 months old.  He can read the alphabets (capital letters and small letters) and simple Chinese characters.  His writing skill is very unsatisfactory.  He may copy the words in a wrong way (may be due to attention deficit, poor hand-eye co-ordination or low ability) and he does not follow the sequence of writing (筆順).  I am anxious that he may suffer from dyslexia (讀寫障礙) as research studies find that there is a positive co-relation between speech delay and dyslexia.  Should I send him to professionals for further assessment?  Can any experienced mom give me advice?  Thanks a lot.
