o甘你1st係邊間呀 ?  sherri呢家好似好d, 我日日都會同佢講英文, 就算佢答中文, 都唔理佢, 佢開始講返d英文, 我呢家心大心細, 唔知轉唔轉好, 有人話km 好, 有人話york, 兩間又各有各好 (km - 程度深, 老師好, 已熟識, 有英文有國語, 但新校唔知多唔多人識 ; york 平均d, 英文幼稚園, 年資久) ; 你係我你會點選 ? (因我囡囡將來考小學得15分, 派位多唔得, 可能考私小, 唔知讀邊間kg對第日考私小會好d), 你幾時 in 宣幼, sherri 係21/1 10:30  in ?

你既心情我完全明白..咁就要睇吓你想sherri 讀咩小學.. 一心諗住讀私小..就選km/york 啦..聽講km校長同喇沙小學關係唔錯..york 就唔知喇.. 盛盛都係得15分.. 咁未齊齊大抽獎囉.. 我有個信念..如果盛盛係天生資質聰敏,話頭醒尾..我估都唔洗我去擔心..亦唔想自小迫得佢咁緊..怕有反效果..到時佢成績標青先再去叩門..當然要加埋運氣.. 唔知你同唔同意呢.. :wink:

~ 如果你覺得sherri 能夠坐定定.. 對聽故事/閱讀寫字方面.. 都感興趣..不防留喺 km..

Hi Parents,

I am new to this forum. We are glad that my son is being accepted by St. Catherine for 2006 K1. We are targetting for DBS or 喇沙 as his primary school. Can anyone share more previous records on this topics? How well they did for these schools?

We will take an interview at Hong Kong Pre-School this Sat. too. I read from other forum that they have good % of acceptance for applying DBS even it is new. Moreover, it is a billingual school in which English & Putonghua is used for teaching in international class from K1 to K3. Also, more extra-currilcular activities are included in their syllabus like computer, PE & practicing voilin (K2).

Any comment on this school? Please advise.

yes, you are right. when selecting the kindergarten, i never count kenville in as i like the active-approach teaching more. but I also applied Kenville, just for an experience, as i thought they won't accept my son because my son is shy boy, cannot speak his name and sing in front of strangers .. however, it accepted him and he is on waiting list of my target school -Sc .
Then people advised me to stay in Kenville rather than Keend Mind because of the long year history and good reputation.. I am considering it , and frankly speaking, i received a lot of positive comments on this.

Re Keend Mind, i Visited this campus and found the teachers, princple are caring and nice. also , very good , postive comments from some KM moms..
I think it is not a very commercial school, the princple really want to educate well the students, from just a workshop.
