I've bought uniform already.  2 sets of uniform, 1 set of sports wear and 1 cardigan.  All for $400+.  Not too expensive.

I have no idea about this .

I bought the uniform in the TST shop near Harbour City.  It's that kind of old-fashioned uniform store.  Actually I don't think there's much difference in quality, especially as the uniform style is so simple.

I still need to buy a pair of black shoes.  Other than this, I believe there's nothing else we need to prepare.  The teacher should be telling us what to bring to school during the orientation (i.e. the first 2 days of school).  Don't worry la.

For the K1 students,  one more uniform is required to place in the kid's schoolbag for change when necessary, especially for those who take schoolbus.  Stationery is not required to prepare for the kids.  I hope these can help you.

My kid just graduated from St. Catherine.  I forgot what standard questions they asked three years ago. But, one thing I am very sure that St. Catherine cares about family relations/education, so their homework usually requires the parents to work with the kids together.  So, they will ask the kids indirectly (e.g. who live with you, father or mother goes home first, etc) to make sure the parents are living with them

1] If the parents are not living with their kids (e.g. living with grandmom), sorry you are out

2] If your kids are having better relationship with your grandmom or maid,
During the interview, they require ONE accompanying adult. It must be the mother, or father.   If you ask the grandmom or maid to go with the kid, sorry you are also out.

3] If the mother goes with the kid for the interview, they will ask "Where is your father". Luckily at that time I was outside the door, so he can tell "Dad is outside".  I am NOT SURE what happen if he answered "Dad is working" or "Dad is at home"

Thanks very much for your input.  I also think it is very important that a child lives with his/her parents unless it is absolutely impossible.  I don't
think I would have problems regarding your points 1 & 2 above.  As for point 3, I don't know whether my son will answer that particular question correctly because whenever his dad is not around, he would assume he is at work.  Furthermore, I read from a magazine that only one parent is allowed to accompany the child to the interview (as in your case).  But recently, another mom told me that both she and her husband were there together with their child.  So I just have to presume that the rules have been changed.  Once again, thanks for sharing.

Yes, St Catherine usually organises "English Adventure" for the students during the summer.  Classes are conducted in the morning or afternoon, just like school hour. But it is very expensive.  Um...not sure about my memony, the fee is $3500 or $3600 for only two weeks (14 July-30 July)

For the tution fee of English Adventure World summer program is $3500 for 12 lessons(3 hours).  They offer school bus services. Around $440.(it depends on the routes)
Actually, the fee is not really expensive, it just around $100/hour.  Except the tea-time session, this summer program is conducted in English by an experienced Native English teacher.  My friend enrolled her daughter to one of learning campus in Kowloon, the tution fee is $200/hour.   
My son is attending this summer program now.  I think that I made the right decision to enroll it for him as he loves to go this summer program.
