Yes, according to our experience.  But it was not exactly about how the kid performed during the first interview.  Rather, it was the personal observation of PY and a general comment of the result of the "sophisticated" test taken during the 1st interview.

My kid's 2nd IN was arranged very early in Mid Oct too orginally,but I don't believe he can have good marks in 1 st IN. He was the only one who needed the teacher to comfort b4 going to the interview room. by the way, the teachers there was very very kind and nice. I think the students study there can have a very happy school life and become more confident.


Yes for my case. May be all different. Does you kid admitted?

PY will keep some result of the 1st IN paper, this is to test how smart and logic of your kid. NO test for language skill, so you kid should be smart to pass the test. Or say good potential to be a smart kid sooner or later. Don't worry, PY has plenty of experience to choose the right pupil to join Logos.

Oh, I'm so lucky, they 偷步 admited. but when I did register, I saw few paper for admited pupils list and they tick in the list.  So, I guess they will offer the firm pupil first. Not all admited will register so they can free those seat to other later. There are around 210 seats in total.

Yes, TKO campus only approve 7 classes, Logos intend to have 10 classes and waiting for approval by Government since they are not private school but DSS. There is a rumour that Logos will acquire some school (like GTS is doing now) to extend other 3 calsses in other region in HK. The TKO campus is already full. Government will approve the seat for P1 in Mar 2007. I think to keep the quality, 7 classes is good enough. I propose to cut into 6 classes as they have 30 class room only. so they need to push some student to secondary school campus for study.

BebeMami, you're welcome, just share the experience.

In fact Logos is one of the option like many other parents.  If my dream school accept I should reconsider. let God to lead me to go.

就算唔收都唔使咁大牌, 發封信有幾難?
每個人報名時已備有回郵信封,
點解係要咁多有心父母不停守候,
這種德行算什麼?
有心辦教育的人會這樣的嗎?
說到底這只不過是一般商業機構的所作所為嗎?
香港太多這種所謂辦學機構,
大家想清楚究竟是什麼一回事吧!

Me too, no phone call or letter received from the school yet!     

I called every week after the 1st interview to check on the status because some kids in the same kindergarten have already received calls for 2nd interview in Oct.....

The staffs at Logos told me that Principa Yau is very busy and out for town for few days, so we just have to be paitent and wait, there will be notice before end of Nov.

I still have hope and not giving up because I think Logos is an appropiate school for my son,   just keep hoping and .....waiting.

If you read all the thread, I already mentioned a lot. I don't understand your questions. but I guess you are asking the criteria for acceptance.Indeed I don't know, I'm not profession in education. Mr. Yau just choose by experience by supporting from the 1st round appraisal result. When Mr. Yau emphasised  my child is very bright, I behave against don't believe it. He told me he has done interview for more than 5000 kids and parents. He is able to choose good student for Logos.  And, I finally believe eugenics.

BTY, they do 2nd interview at Secondary school. You can drive the car into the campus and park at the left hand side. If you have driver, you better ask him wait outside, coz many parents will dirve car to interview. The letter also instruct you how to drive to secondary section.

sorry! I only want to" 8 ",since I think mr Yau would not only say your daughter is bright,he must have comment on different aspects on her abilities. I just want to know which aspects have been asscessed during the 1st IN. To me, I have already withdrawed for 2nd IN which arranged in Mid Oct. I just cannot believe he has performed well in the 1st IN since he rejected by another DSS school on HKside.

Really? I heard that he could not recruit more than 10 classes last year, so  there were only 7 classes. do you think 7 is a lucky number?

Yes, he talked a lot.  are you kidding, no one is able to analyse many aspect in short time, but look at parent is very important like other famous DSS. My experience in 女拔, even Yamatei Catholic Principal Mr. Cheung also say parent is more important than just test the kid. From your statement, I suspect you didn't apply Logos, can you tell me what logos does test your kid during 1st IN before I anwer more to you.
