it is hard to say how they judge the interviews and i m sure most (99%) of schools will not really tell u exactly how they do it! also everything is subjective, much depending on your interviewer.

but from word of mouth, many schools like "大"bs, outgoing (大膽) and more responsive kids (eye contact is very important). i m not sure how much knowing only a single language will affect your result, as u must think whether the result of a child who only understands chinese would be affected too. however, of course if your child knows both languages will be a bonus, i would think, and that is very reasonable don't u think!?

did your daughter speak alot in english during the interview?? because during our interview my son spoke all in english also, except for 早晨. as i would think that since this is a bilingual school, knowing one language well is pretty good already and shouldn't be much of a problem for them to pick up another at school. afterall it is not like your child only knows english and is applying for an all chinese school!
