Don't think you can find existing Hon Wah parents here.  A few comments from KCS parents
Merit for KCS versus Hon Wah:
1). kCS a school with history and track record. Hon Wah is bit too new not much understanding of this school. Thru train again is another attractiveness but only not much historic figures to back them up.  So the passion of theprincipal is very important.
2)拔尖 - there is no such thing in KCS. However not much I can comment on Hon Wah either as not sure how they would do it given the no of student in each class is not big.  I think the angle that you might consider is if you would like a smaller class or your kid like attention of the teacher then maybe Hon Wah better. Currently looking the the top students of the school - they feel happy and confirm with their own subject expert.
3) as your kid is only in K2. Still have plenty of time to consider.  But just wonder why just compare with Hon Wah and not other school ?  I think another angle is to understand what type of sec school u would like to go ?

If you are looking at Eastern then probably KCS and HW are the two schools. I think you may analysis thing from two angles:
1) Do you want a thru train school ? HW is a thru train school while KCS is not. HW is a relatively new school so I think no one can give you much comment on the secondary level.

2) Level of Mandarin: Again if talking about a mandarin environment then KCS should have avery good track record.

But I would say HW ahs a new campus and KCS campus is old.
