想請教一下，到什麼年紀才用書面語讀故事，小兒差不多三歲，從他半歲開始每天跟他讀故事，一直都是用口語，最近想用書面語，但他非常抗拒，有沒有好方法解決嗎？謝謝！

我初期也是口語講故事, 之後幼稚園校長話用書面語讀故事會幫助到小朋友他日寫句子, 所以慢慢開始用書面語讀.
開始時每頁會先跟書讀, 之後再用口語講一下那一頁的意思, 也會用口語跟小朋友討論. 小朋友就會慢慢習慣.

Have you tried explaining the page first and then read it? Or go through the whole book together in your language. Then reread the book word by word a second time later in the day or the next day?

You have to move to reading word by word over time. If you explain it using your language, he is only listening to how you construct sentences, use vocabulary and organize the story. By reading it aloud, it is the author's talking. Lexile level of speech is also quite a bit lower than text.

四隻貓妳好，小兒也是能凱帆學之園就讀pn，幾星期前與校長茶敘，她鼓勵要用書面語講故事，我才開始試試，想不到阿仔會抗拒，因為他非常喜故事，有時候講一個小時他也可以很專心和有興趣。多謝妳的回覆和分享，我再努力試試。

mrcamel Maybe start with shorter phrases? I am starting my kid on Greenfield's 我會讀 and because the phrases are so short, my kid doesn't mind those 書面語 even though he knows 口語 only before. 發表於 13-4-9 15:37

想請教各位, 小兒5歲多, 一直有伴讀, 最近開始叫他自己看書(我坐左一旁看自己的書), 但原來他自己看的時候是看圖多, 小看字, 那怎麼辦呢?

Try to ask him to point to words when you read. That should help focus and train the eyes.

It is good that your son lets you read to him. My 7 year old doesn't want me to read to him anymore! He only lets me read to him if he's in the mood, and even so, he would only let me read one chapter as he always cannot wait to get to the end of the story.

所謂閱讀, 只是當遊戲, 目的為了令他覺得看書是一件非常開心的事.

我也是循這個方向做,兒子是個成功的例子.

閱讀是一件非常開心的事,孩子就愛多看.
如果閱讀是件苦差,打機才是樂事,將來孩子就只愛打機了.

那是沒有問題的,有時父母太急不及待了.有時成人看書/雜誌都只看/先看插圖/相.
如果是文字太深,可揀選一些再淺的讀物.
