弘立學費貴一倍有多，論語境我會覺得弘立更佳，因有不少外國及混血兒學生。我都很喜歡弘立，但我負擔不來，亦住得很遠，所以我揀選了蔡繼有。

我相信始終有些學生是不太守規則的，但論語境，蔡繼有一定會比傳統學校的好。

二月六日是蔡繼有開放日，若你有興趣，不妨到訪，接觸一下學生。

Is there any secondary school for CKY? Since CKY is not an IB school, will the students go for local 334 diploma? If they really go for local 334 diploma, are you afraid that they may be behind other local traditional schools (I fear eventually HK's education - no matter 334 or A-level will still be exam-oriented)?

我相信是因學生而異, 小兒今年小一, 我問他平常都會用英語溝通, 前兩個月在運動會成班同學一起在閒暇時玩耍, 都是講英文, 偶然有一位用廣東話講,他們又會轉台到廣東話;又在另一課外場合, 都見他們以英語溝通...

開學初期, 的確有呢個情況! 可能舊年個暑假實在太長, 部份小朋友o係屋企習慣講中文吧!
但個多月後, 情況改善好多! 絶大部份都已經跟學校規定, 講英文/普通話! 可能間中有一兩個講廣東話都唔定, 但我平時返學校所見, 真係冇乜!

CKY一定行IB, 唔會考local文憑試! 所以放心!

But it seems CKY is even not a IB candidate school. Did the school release any plan to get IB recognition?

Dear kidsmother,

CKY must go for IB since if not, most of the current student will transfer away. During the progression of student, they are now pushing the upper year student to adapt to higher standard in order for the preparation of future Year 10 IGCSE and very likely selecting the suitable one for the IBD study in Year 11 and 12. They just completed the assessment and I compared some major subjects with the local standard, their expectation is in comparable to upper 2 years.

Interesting. We applied ISF last year for its foundation year and got accepted. So far, the teaching method and language environment are very attractive. I am sure that the facilities are good for the kids as well. However, the key thing for us to let our daughter to continue her K3 is that we want our daughter to grow with the peers with normal/fair family background or financial standard, not only that are with financially wealthy.
In terms of facilities, I think the campus of CKY is now bigger than ISF which is planning to expand soon.

This is quite a challenge for us. In fact, we applied to a number of other IS and ISF last year. We decided to keep her at K3 and try the local primary schools as well as CKY. We consider that Chinese is far more important. Glad that CKY is one of our options now. However it is sad that she failed in the one that I liked the most..... :(
