小兒有興趣報劍橋econ, predicted score 符合但中文3左,大家有冇意見報唔報好,因仲要考tmua. 煩惱中

考數跟中文有什麼關係？

疫情以前，香港早一日考數學，第2日面試，面試入面約一半時間考數學，外國大學冇人睇中文嘅，就算中文肥咗，數學+ M 1 ／M2 5**，Econ 加多科5**，反而重要。

到出conditional offer都係指定3科夠分，多數不會要求3個5**。

Cambridge requires grade 5 in all core subjects:

Hong Kong

Typical Offer Level

The typical offer level for candidates taking the HKDSE will depend on the Cambridge course for which you are applying. Applicants will normally be expected to obtain:

Core Subjects

Grades of 5 in all core subjects, and grades of 5* in two or more relevant core subjects.

中文3左的意思是 predicted grade?

若中文3是 DSE成績，你是考慮放棄今年的大學 offer ，明年去報劍橋econ?

真人真事，若中文 3 咗，你係可以 send 封 email 去 Cambridge 求情，佢係會收番你的，但個 case 是佢有好多科5** ，但就不肯定是否因為好多5** 才額外開恩，還是你動之以情就可以！
