昨天去了英華2nd Interview, 眼見之前的考生都用了十多分鐘至十五分鐘,自己只有七八分鐘, 有問題嗎? 面試後,有點不安!
我給自己的解釋是:
1) 我考的時間是五點,可能之前的考生 over-run, 所以時間縮短了! 或
2) 可能校長不太喜歡我們,盡快問完仔仔便算數! 或
3) 校長的『記憶』題,仔仔答得不錯,只錯了一題,校長覺得很滿意,所以不用再問其他問題!
其實,有些人說,仔仔的答案並不重要,校長是著重禮貌! 是嗎?

不要担心什麼,時間多少井不重要?
最重要的是最後結果,12月4日不是全都見完了嗎?耐心的等多几天吧.

1st choice my husband and i like ying wa very much, especially my son, he loves this school he said Principal Lam is very kind and funny. He also put this school in the 1st choice.

After my son answer the last question, the principal said 'you have good memory'. One of my friend said the principal said her son is good and patient.

我之前好鍾意英華,不過,老公唔鍾意男校!
其實男校我都麻麻地,不過,去過簡介會之後覺得學校好,又蓋過左男校既問題!
又不過,我都有其他既offer,聽吓聽吓,又開始有啲動搖!
你哋覺得男校有無問題呢?
英華用中文教學,小朋友既語言又夠唔夠呢?

My son also got offer from other school and also waiting the 2nd interview result from other school, however if ying wa accept my son we will definetly let him study in ying wa since he also love this school very much. Boy school is not a problem, a lot of good school in hk are boy or girl school. English conversation may be not as good as other english primary school, however he used to study english class with an american teacher twice a week, i think it should be ok.

Last year the theme was about the SPACE and this year the theme is about the Plan E 'save the polar bear' remember the movie that they showed on the interview day.

這是一個好問題, 從另外一個角度去了解家長對小朋友的祈望, 如果直接去問, 家長可能會就學校/校長的喜好而作答, 而改名一事就可以看出:
1. 父母對這種"人生大事"的參與程度, 到底是你親自改, 或者由老人家, 或者是風水命理師? 如果是親自改, 你就一定講得出這個名字的故事, 有些家長可能連個名都寫錯 (因為用了太深的字), 或者明知是為八字五行的不足而改不敢在林校長前說出來
2. 有些名字的意思是重物質財富, 有些重品德, 家長就算是在interview 之前知道問題又知林校長是一個重家教品德的人, 也不可能為一個interview 幫小朋友改名
另外, 記憶題又是另一傑作, 面試班通常是用兩張圖片叫小朋友找不同, 相對林校長的要求, 層次太低了, 林校長是要求小朋友說出校長室有個多月前和今天所見的比較, 再問你first in 是讀過什麼書, 有幾多個小朋友陪你first in, 完全要求考生記憶力強, otherwise, 無可能應付YW的功課

如果是獨生子, 便要花更多時間去教他在群體中待人接物的道理, 因為小朋友在家中多數會成為小王子, 萬千寵愛在一身, 多一個兄弟姊妹, 就可以在家中學跟他人"分享"

如果你已經考了十間, 也不宜如數家珍, 只能說事實之部分, 如幾間跟YW差不多水準的學校, 目標不宜"太雜"
如果你提及DBS, 肯定會有影響, 因為明顯YW不是你的首選

對! 校長喜歡讚小朋友...
居住地區也是一個重要的因素, 因為校長會覺得住得太遠的學生, 朝朝6點幾起身根本不夠精神上課, 她是以學生的健康為重, 所以, 如果兩個家庭分數一樣, 一定會是住得近的小朋友有優先權入學
因此, 港島人(例如我)...我都係expect 只有waiting list.

住得遠同近, 我相信沒有直接影響, 我諗好視乎interview小朋友同家長表現. 況且屋可以搬又有校車. 至於時間長短, 我又覺得可能有小小關係wor, 我覺得林校長好想深入了解每個家庭, 我in那天有幾個family 一齊等, 有d真係in o左半個鐘, 有d真係10分鐘. 講真, 你同friend 好傾夾咀型都會傾耐d啦!

I just called to the school and they told me that they may not be able to upload to their webiste at midnight tonight but definitely you can find the result tomorrow. However, for myself, I will definitely have a look before I go to sleep tonight....
