2011/2012年度新生入學

特別注意事項：
1. 校舍搬遷事宜
為配合香港聖公會主教山重建計劃，中環校校舍將會遷出原址，往臨時校舍繼續
運作。
有關安排如下：
   - 預計2011年9月遷往臨時校舍
   - 臨時校舍地址：香港銅鑼灣東院道7號中華基督教會聖光堂
   - 預計2014年9月遷往畢拉山新校舍

2. 學券事宜
有關政府推行為期五年的學券計劃將於2012年度完結，本校未確定仍否繼續參加
新一期的學券計劃。

入學年齡:	幼兒班 2007年10月至2008年12月出生者
	低　班 2006年10月至2007年12月出生者
	高　班 2005年10月至2006年12月出生者
領取申請表: n n n n n	(1) 本校網頁下載: 由2010年12月17日(星期五)至2011年1月7日(星期五)期間，在本校網址www.skhkg.edu.hk下載。 (2) 親臨索取: 可於指定「報名日」，即2011年1月8日 (星期六) 到本校校舍索取及即場填寫，並連同所需文件(詳見下列)一併即日遞交。
報名辦法: n	(1) 須於指定「報名日」之辦理時間內，攜同填妥之申請表及有關證明文件，直接交回本校。
	報名日期: 2011年1月8日 (星期六) 只限一天辦理時間: 上午9:00 至下午3:00 (☆ 備註:「報名日」後遞交之申請表將不獲受理，敬希留意。)
	(2) 報名所須呈交文件: a. 報名表（以正楷填寫及貼上小朋友正面4×5 cm之半身近照一張）； b. 附回郵信封二個（22×11cm），請填寫台端之聯絡地址及貼上足夠郵費； c. 繳交報名費30元(現金)； d. 出示小朋友之正、副本出生證明書。
面見安排: n n n n	幼兒班遞交報名表後，校方即時通知面見日期及時間。低班/高班插班生只接受遞交報名表，校方於六月初視乎學生升留情況，個別通知面見日期及時間。
招收學額: n	上、下午幼兒班各60人，共120人上、下午低班/高班插班生

This is for Mount Butler:
Note that only 60 am for Mount Bulter,
Central has 60am + 60 pm, total 120 seats.
Grand total is 180 seats - same as before.

築項目，為免影響畢拉山校學童的健康及安全，本校將遷往臨時校舍繼續運作。

Good P1allocation results. However, around 2/3 of students eventually went to DSS or private schools. Some of these schools could be in Kowloon side.
When you see the P1 allocation result from their website - most of the schools are band one.

I also know some people studying here are coming from Kowloon side, but not really far away.

And also i heard that the student from the skh kg actually has a little advantage if they are knocking on the skh primary school's door.

I am living in Lam Tin but also interested in SKH. The most famous kindergarten in HK side and the past primary allocation result is really good.

should go to the original school you apply - cause Lingliang has not moved out yet.

can anyone with previous experience tell me if i need to go to the school very early in the morning (eg 7am) to queue up to hand in the application form?

I you want to get interview at the very early morning, then you need to quene up early. (same case for St Paul's Church).
But if you don't mind interview at the later time of the day, i don't think you need to go so early.
I believe there is no restriction to the no. of applications.

If you have portfolio, shall hand in upon the application. Some teachers told me that they seldom see people handing in portfolio for K1 cause the kid is too small.

But if you got something outstanding (e.g. prize win) to present, you may also submit a porfolio. But if nothing specially - only family photos and usual playgroup certificate, I don't think that will help.
