仔仔已取錄, 11/1 要交留位費, 請問這間學校英文程度, TECHER & HOMWORK是否OK? P1派位好嗎?
Is that valubale to admitt this shool. Not sure where to go or not? Does anyone can give me some comments about this school.

INTERVIEW 不深, 只是考顏色, 配對, POINT OUT SOMTHING, 和媽媽談些仔仔日常生活事宜, Not difficfult.

由於我仔仔當日有發燒,  his perfomance was not a good druing the interview, very apperication this kind of teacher were fully  understood my baby, so that he can got admitt this school. Though this school is very old & small, but i like the teacher has a heart & founcs on the child.

Important you can go the school web, P1 allocation result is very good for the past three years. So, i decide to let my son get in this school.  

They will release the result within 1 week, let me know if you have same feeling after receipt the successfully completed application letter accordingly.

面試嗰日老師帶我同囝囝見一班k2學生,
佢地好主動, 仲分別用英文同普通話問我囝囝問題,
呢一part令我好深刻﹗
老師話每日有外籍老師教英文, 1星期有3堂普通話,
我唸學生嘅語言能力同信心就係咁練返黎﹗

Do you have apply KV? which one is better?  I am going to have interview with KV this sunday: 11/9.  Which K1 is your first school.

But it seems ST. NIC., english is higher level than KV is just a famous school on the paper job.

seems sn english level higher than kv...agree!
but personally i like kv.

There's many difference between these 2 kinder.
It's hard to say which better, just depends on what you want. My son's learning ability quite good, but extremely naughy and not under control, so I thought KV can train him to be disciplinary, calm, listen and follow instruction.

Some difference FYI

SN >>
k1 students ~ 6x
student per class ~ 1x
small campus
English as 1st language
Active teaching method + dictation + wordings
Many activities like school picnic, 參觀etc

KV >>
K1 students ~ 6xx
student per class ~ 3x
2 campus (1big 1small)
Cantonese as 1st language
traditional teaching method even like primary school
Less activites, seems no picnic and no graduation ceremony (not sure)

望到頸都長，終於收到acceptance letter。好開心呀！我唸我好大機會send 阿仔黎金巴倫讀。
我本來都係呢星期六去in KV, 决定唔去lu。我反而唔係咁鍾意KV，金巴倫教育模式會比較係我想要嘅。

其實真係冇話邊間最好,
適合自己同小朋友就係最好啦!
希望大家嘅小朋友都可以讀到心目中最好kinder!

I've also received the acceptance letter for my son, so happy
The interview was conducted last week. My son is a 'small' boy (0610) and not willing to speak a lot yet. But the interviewer is very patient. We also visited a class taking English lession. All the kids are lovely & active and asked my son 'what is your name' and shake hand with my son. The class also sang 2 English songs related to Halloween to us. Though my son a little bit shy, i can see him quite happy. I've a very good impression on the interview. Thus i probably let my son to study at SN too !

my son is also a small boy (born in end of sept) That means your son and my son might have chance to become classmates

When will you go to pay for the registration fee? I am going this Sat.

其實我有個疑問,囝囝坐唔定,集中力低,耐性無乜,我本黎想揀d無咁傳統既學校比佢,但老公會認為佢既然係咁,就緊係要搵間教到佢管到佢架學校啦,大家有乜意見呢?謝謝

我個仔都系咁啊,依家都十五十六,之前諗住俾佢讀好似KV咁著重紀律的學校,但聽人講又話咁會對阿仔性格晤好,但活動式教學我又惊佢會變本加利,有冇其它家長俾地意見?

其實真係2個講法都有人講,
我個人就認同fatsin老公講法。

我覺得我個仔過份活躍, 坐唔定, 唔聽教,
上playgroup唔聽老師講野, 唔跟老師唱歌,
但佢返到屋企又可以做返哂唱返哂出黎,
即係佢有能力學野, 但貪玩, 頑皮,
所以我想搵一間傳統, 著重紀律同品德嘅學校比佢﹗

我想真的要視乎家長想給小朋友什麽,要像KV從小開始着重紀律,書寫,還是給他活動教學,有機會自己探索及學習思考.在香港的教育制度下,除非讀國際學校,否則傳統主流小學必要背書寫作.我就希望能選一間中庸的kinder,有活動之餘又要銜接到傳統小學,否則升上小一無論家長及小孩都會很辛苦.

聽你地咁講后,我都非常認同,我個仔就如babyhilary個仔的情況一模一樣,我一路都非常頭痛,無論返playgroup或依家返左三日n1,都系咁樣,坐晤定,晤聽教,好主觀,但一返到屋企又聽晒你話,可以做返晒學校教個地,我之前總以為得我個仔系咁,好太挫敗感啊 ,依家我都系堅定信念,之前報個地繼續in,不過目標系KV同埋民生,如果都系晤收,我會考慮俾佢讀返依家間N1或金巴倫幼稚園(如收),出年再IN過KV,民生同培正,努力

My boy has the same case as Babyhilar's son.  Extremely naughty... walks around in playgroup but he can sing those songs @ hm though he's only a "small boy"...

My view is kinda the same as fastsin's husband.  Therefore I don't even let my boy goes to Nursary    KV is not my cup of tea, but I do like HKPS and SN.  Just recieved acceptance from SN and will wait for the interview for HKPS.

I think there's no right or wrong...  Who knows what will happen next.  Just do the best for our kids, then that's fine

唔知係咪多數男仔都係gum, haha...  聽到有gum多 similar case, 都安心D

我個係細仔, 而SN interview 當日, miss 好有耐性gum對我個仔, even 佢走呢走去坐唔定都無趕佢走, 仲比機會佢發揮, 所以從interview 睇, d miss 好 nice, 好有愛心

系啊,今日個馮主任IN我個仔,佢好有耐心咁同阿仔IN,睇得出佢地都系好有愛心,同埋講解得好詳盡,IN左几間,系哩間最詳細,我諗可能同平日都有地關系
