拉小提琴分享及交流part 2

不過CU有樣唔好，除了音樂本科外，要花時間讀大一英文，中文，中國文化要義、通識等等。音樂本科又要包括中國音樂，對於以演奏為目標的學生，未免會有點失望及到喉唔到肺嘅感覺。

我細女過年後都會開始學小提琴了. 佢剛4歲, 有d怕佢應付唔到. 但佢期待咗好耐而老師又話冇問題所以決定俾佢一試. 每堂先上15-20分鐘. 大女5歲半先開始學有d遲, 細女又好似太早...

好期待兩姊妹玩duet......

我阿三四歲半学，我都覺得太早。好難聽！

我細囡將足五歲時在Yip's上, 5個月後可以拉Long Long Ago, 她勁開心可以拉到熟悉歌仔, 音色都OK, 因有要求每次練習前先拉弦 。比1:1是慢些, 但几個小朋友可以互相比試吓, 又曾加了練琴動力。
有時見哥哥彈琴同她伴奏, 的確好好玩。
唔知一年後可否拉到校際一級歌仔呢 ?

阿仔初初好兴奮，當我把支1/4琴帶回家後，佢就將弓當劍，把琴當鎚，追着大少打，然後又亂拉一通，開心到不得了。但學了两堂，即刻謝哂，好唔想練咁。

哈哈!這麼快就一年,高興聽到細囡囡都準備學琴了,先輕輕鬆鬆半年,有姐姐在前,駕輕就熟,相信她也會唔衰得,一定可應付,同一老 師吧!Duet好,加鋼琴伴奏又如何?5歲半唔會太遲,4歲亦唔太早,主要在你平時的安排。

係啊, 時間過得真快! 細囡會先跟老師的助手學幾個月. 然後才正式跟老師學(可能要等上大班後).

佢係跟這位老師快一年. 之前在別處浪費了大半年兼學了一些壞手勢/習慣, 到現在仲未完全改好. 要經常提醒, 稍不留神又故態復萌......

Violin size

My boy has used 1/2 size violin for 6 years.  Lately he started to grow taller and is now 14x cm. The current one was bought from HK Strxxx for $15K. The sound is very good.  Last year when he participated in Grade 6 violin in music festival (which he still luckily got a 3rd), one of the comments from the adjudicator was "Change the size of the violin". My husband also commented that the sound from my boy's violin was much weaker than the other children.

Recently I asked the violin teacher if he needed to change the violin size, and the answer was negative.  He said if we want to buy a full size violin with similar sound quality, the budget will be $100K.  He said loud sound not equals good sound.  The current one with good sound is good for violin exam.

Dear expert parents, can I have some opinion from you whether I should buy a full size violin at this stage, but my budget is at most $25K.

1/2琴，靚極都系1/2。14xcm未必可以拉4/4，可以考慮3/4。

我女都差唔多150,拉到4/4啦,個琴掂到手腕都仲可以,短過就唔好喇,情願個琴細都唔好大, 大人拉full size,都係到手腕之麻

噢!又一位家長要頭疼了。錢要俾人賺,合理就好。
Orfeo不可不去看看,不一定要買,不過一定會得到你未想過的資料可作參考,以你孩子老 師的口氣,不知料子有多高,但要求不低。二萬多的大陸琴相信難合要求,再上當在3.5至5萬之間的法國和德國琴之間作選擇,意大利琴就不用想了。帶埋個1/2去試多幾個作比較,慢慢再決定。唉!還要預算買枝弓,三、四千的算是沒要求,再上又萬多元了。3/4就不用了,手不太細直上4/4,今年比賽試向別人或老 師借個琴吧,適應都要時間。

Thank you all for your valuable opinion. My son's violin teacher is a retired teacher of APA. His daughter is now playing in HK Phil.  You may know who I am talking about.

I will visit Orfeo next week...
