我幾年前已經講，胡紅玉及平機會的做法是妄顧孩子成長的差異，影響深遠，我不用遺害算客氣。

所以我傾向選男校，培養多元智能，溫文有禮，有良好價值觀，學業及事業有成，自然有更多選擇權，話之妳XX獎學金！

所以為人父母要小心，官員或長官的政策及觀點好多背後有背後動機（hidden agenda) 或者愚蠢，直資，母語教學，國民教育等是有背後動機；男女生一條隊，新高中重文輕理是愚蠢。要識得分清楚，然後自己執生，每次教改都要留意，調整策略。

多口講句，留意直資及私立的男女比例，再比較官津Band 1, 教育工作者是知道政策是錯的，有自主權便撥亂反正。

lB課程對語文好的學生有幫助，女孩子會有優勢。男孩子較易沉迷網絡遊戲，宅男，食草男越來越多。我們不能改變社會或政策，我們只可以做好本份，不盲目跟主流，跟政府政策相反或原地踏步，錯的機會大大減少！

你跟我太太看法相似，我跟小兒的看法是有人較有效率，聰明，do more with less。所以他選lB唔選NSS，較適合他的學習模式，當然功課會多且深入！

有時能夠 "do more with less" 正正是問題所在。當你知道及相信你能 do more with less，作為一個聰明人的你，又點會 try your hardest? 例如，如果你知道 Grade A 的 grade boundary 是90 分至100 分，咁你嘅目標可能係以最少的時間及努力攞到 90 分就己經達到你的目標。況且最 top 嗰 10分可能係最哂時間去讀先攞到，你或者會問自己，咁辛苦又係攞Grade A，值唔值得呀? 其實學校的考試都只是一些有分數計的"短途比賽"。在這些比賽中，用 "do more with less" 的 approach 或者也不是很大問題。問題主要係出於人生的 "長途比賽"。這種比賽係沒有終點的。邊個 focus + work hardest and longest 就會好大機會拋離別人。好多聰明及能夠 "do more (work) with less (time)" 嘅人，可能就係死係依度。大家都讀過龜免賽跑，但世上又有幾多跑得快而又不停跑嘅白免?

有趣的討論，我不反對你的看法，我亦做過兩方面的做法及心態，到現在的年紀，我覺得兩者可以兼行。

多謝提醒，我亦有向兒子分析兩者之間優劣勢，適當時間做適當的事，如果讀某些科目，真是冇得走精面。

亦是這個原因，我咬實牙根都完成博士學位，希望以身教，讓他明白，這事上我是龜，而不是兔。
