Hello Cheque,

As you're so urgent, I'll try to answer while you can wait for other more knowledgeable mothers to give you more reliable information.

HY kindergarten girls also need to go through the same government procedures to apply for HYPS. But if there are any extra seats after the 1st and 2nd stage, they will only be given to HY kindergarten girls. From what I read in BK, last year about half of HY kindergarten girls were accepted by HYPS, i.e. about 30, including those who got the seats in the final "knocking door" stage.

這間是女子名校, 都是有直屬小學, 外來學生想入讀中學, 是否難乎其難呢?
聽說若無特殊才能的話, 要 top 3 of the P5 &P6 才有機會被考慮, 是嗎?! pls comment......

I think it's really difficult to enter HYPS as my daughter (now P.3 in HYPS) told me that there is a new student in her class this year and this girl performed very well in most subject especially in sport(跑步).

協恩小學只有三班，中學有五班，所以約有一半中一生是其他小學考入或抽入來的。是否top3才有機會？我不知道，但任何申請者都會有面試的機會，面試佔40%，明報的選校天書說：校方尋求與該校同步的家長。怎樣才同步呢？就要上網做做功課，看看學校的報告，了解一下協恩的辦學理念。

協小收插班生的要求是很高的，因為很少插班位。
