Arkcocoon,
I just read Ms. Wai's annual school report 09-10. It states some facts:
- 64% of students are band 1, 28% are band 2, 8% are band 2 (similar in the previous two years)
- 83% went to St stephen's college afterwards
I think it says a lot about SSCPS' achievement. 2/3 of a class is band one is indeed a very good achievement. I honestly have lots of confidence on my child that she will be able to achieve that result and being a band 1 student.
In every school, there are children who may not keep up with the school academic very well and it is just a fact and normal.
For SSCPS, if the teachers are not very pushy (as known and compared to traditional famous schools), many ECA are available and children are studying happily there, any one dare to say 64% band 1 students is not a good result?
