Thanks. She (Angee) is not smart but we just don't want to limit her exposure to certain areas only. We hope she could try different things and to find her real interest. She tried ballet when she was only 2.5 but she didn't like it at all. Even when we ask her now if she wants to learn ballet and she would still say no. She joined Yip's when she was 3 also. She was born in Dec 06, so she had started her kinder before joining the Yip's.
For Eng, they don't have NET as class teacher anymore in K2 but they spend quite a lot of time to do indiviual reader lesson. They will divide the class into two/three groups and each group will have a slot of time with Eng teacher! The teacher will ask them to read out the reader and teach them the keywords. Other students will have other activities like in the playgroup, in the music group etc. By all means, they are only small kids and they can't teach a class of 30 at one go.
For PTH, Angee has progressed quite well this year. She sings more songs and poems at home in PTH. If I remembered correctly, I think there are about 2 sessions each week at least and 30mins per session which the PTH teacher will come to the class to teach. Once again, PTH is not my mother tongue and I am thinking of sending Angee for supplementary classes in PTH. I don't want to teach her myself as I will not be accurate!!
