I am planning to replace my low-ended piano (Toyama U1) with performance-graded piano (52" height with better quality). I already went to large company to try Yamaha YUS-5 and Kawaii K-8. I like Yamaha YUS-5 but it is about $110,000. Too expensive and not worth. So, I want to buy Yamaha YUA / YUX / WX-5 / U5 used piano which is about $40,000 - $50,000 dependings on its condition. But, the used piano is about 2x years old. Then, I learnt from a piano technican that kk is selling Tokiwa TS-132 at about $6x,xxx which is the same grade and level of Yamaha YUS-5. Also, Tokiwa piano is totally made in Japan. I don't have knowledge of this brand of piano. It seems a new brand in Hong Kong. But, the technican said that it has a long history in Japan and they used "Apollo" as brand name in Japan but the manufacturer is the same. They just registed "Tokiwa" brand name in Hong Kong. My target is to buy a performance-graded piano with high and stable quality and it is worth compared with the price and quality. I am in G7 piano and want to attend G8 exam. I have two daughters (G4 and G2 piano). One of my daughter always perform and attend compitetion using grand piano. So, I want to have a better up-right piano for her to practice. I don't consider grand piano because there is no space in my home. Before calling the technican to try Tokiwa TS-132, I want to get more information on this piano. Does anyone have experience or comments on Tokiwa TS-132 and Yamaha 52" used piano? |
