I let my son to join the last year 約翰教室summer English course at Ma On shan branch becoz the tutor fees was cheap about HKD1X0/ per hour and native english teacher as well. My son didnt want to go there becoz the teacher was very very bad who not interested in teaching kids. My son said the 鬼婆 would gave a worksheet and asked you to say something about the picture of the worksheet at first 30mins, another 30 mins would let the children doing some execise by themselve without any conversation. The teacher is No fun, No sound, No smile.

I suggest you try one lesson and good luck to you.

Yeah,my son had the same experience when he was there. he would come home and tell me how bad it was. I gee wish I knew this before I paid the money. Atleast we know why they are so cheap. As the saying goes, 'you pay for what you get.'

I also agree with catcatmom & emum's comments. My daughter also joined their summer course in Ma On Shan last year, NO GOOD! My another friend's daughter joined their summer course in Tseung Kwan O, ABSOLUTELY NO COMMENT!!

I don't understand why they can open several new centres this summer

我覺得JOHN 不錯, 我地返將軍澳果間, 老師好穩定, 不會隨便換老師, 老師也有愛心.

regard to John's Educational Centre, there're many bad comment from BK's Mum that you type the key words John's education and search out the old message.May be you meet a teacher in 將軍澳果間branch but their teacher change rapidly in other branch as my son met 3 teachers during 11 english lessons.My friend let her son to join their summer course in Hung Hom and the tutor fees is cheap HK$2000/a month and 3hrs / a day. One english lesson, one普通話lesson, one lesson is Art/cook lesson. I warned my friend already and don't expect too much. My friend said she had no expectation and just kill time.

Good luck to all mums who put their kids in John's and hope they can meet a good teacher in the school.

I also let my daughter to join there before, however, it was bad experience to her. Now, I let her to join "Art for more" summer course, it is putonghua with chinese painting course, I think it is so funny. As my daughter is joining the cousre of English art from there. She is interested in drawing and very enjoyable. So, I let her learn english speaking also drawing.

Hi Susanna,

Can you share more about John's Education in TKO?  I see so many bad comments in BK.

I have registered the summer English playgroup for my daughter who is 3 years old in TKO center.  The teacher should be Teacher Amy.

Can I ask you some questions?

How old are your daughter?  Is she joining the playgroup as well?  Is her teacher is Teacher Amy?  Is Teacher Amy good?  Are their activities in each lesson different?  How long she has joined John's?

I see they have a large room for the playgroup, is it safe or good?

Pleas share more your experience in John's in TKO.

Please help.
