k1之前的教育問題

Dear All,

仔仔今年九月返K1, 在這段時間(半年), 應該進行怎樣的教育/練習?

現在已有的活動:
2 days playgroup,
Course in Kindermusik,
IEC in HK Children's Choir

我見有些朋友已進行flashcard訓練, 小朋友已認識不少中文及英文vocab., 我有d擔心仔仔落後於人. 有無家中教育的好介紹呢? 但點開始? 邊d有用, 邊d無用(浪費時間 & $$)?

請交流&賜教!

我覺得已差不多!
要視乎你所選的學校, 因k1認字不算多.
我覺得迪士尼美語ok!

我囡的活動如下:

Mon - Fri 返幼兒園
Sat 1) IEC 2) Phonics (學校課外活動, 只上咗兩堂, 唔知教 d 咩

)
自己 - 我覺得每晚放工後都有心冇力, 我冇咩特別訓練囡囡. 除咗每晚仲維持到睡前同佢睇書.

我有買 d vcd/cd 比佢睇/聽, e.g. Letterland, 唐詩, 三字經, Barney, Pre-school power, etc.

Hi Radiomama,

May I know what is IEC?

My son is currently attending pre-nursery (Mon-Fri) and a music class. I also want to enrol more activities for him, but it seems quite difficult to find some for kids under 3.

IEC是香港兒童合唱團的多元智能啟蒙班, 類似playgroup.

聽唐詩, 三字經cd的好處是什麼? Pre-school power是什麼?

You could apply the course in Feb and August every year (roughly). No criteria except the age. The course starts in July and Jan.

入讀k1前, 最好已學懂什麼呢?

My checklist:
1)完全戒片, 自己上廁所
2)用杯飲水, 用匙羹/叉食小吃&飯
3)除衫/著衫, 除鞋/著鞋
4)count from 1 to 10
5)recognise the number from 1 to 10
6)sing ABC song
7)recognise the letters from A to Z
8)recognise his name in Eng & Chi
9)ask question
10)play with other kids

這十項是我的想法, 你們又有什麼看法? 還有什麼應注意呢?

但中文字方面, 我仲未開始玩認字卡, 三字經是一個好的開始嗎? 我擔心中文太難, 有意思的字如:爸媽爺

You can download the form on the website of HK Children's Choir in July/Aug to apply for the course commencing on Jan 2008 if your kid reaches 2 years old by that time. Probably deadline on 31 Aug! Pls check.

唐詩 - 短短的字句, 已經可以表達出詩人的思想及感情, 反映當時的歷史背景, 詩句意景清晰, 容易上口.

三字經 - 中國古代教小朋友道德倫理, 包括: 禮, 義, 廉, 恥, 忠, 考等等.

雖然我哋小朋友仲細個, 會背到都係念口黃, 一定不明白當中道理, 但係並不重要, 到佢小一時, 好多學校都要念唐詩, 當係比佢哋知多 d, 佢現在唔明白意思, 到佢大少少, 而佢又有興趣, 亦可以解釋比佢知. 好似我讀比囡囡聽 "詠鵝", 到看書時如果見到一些天鵝的相片時, 我又會指住隻天鵝念 "詠鵝", 佢咪知道嗰首詩原來係講緊隻天鵝 law. 又或者你念時同時諗 d 動作, 等佢易 d 明白.

Which material do you use for 三字經 & 唐詩? Any cute pictures? or traditional one? Sometimes my son would say he's scared of the ancient people

Would you also play the Putonghua CD to your girl?

I am want to planning some course for my son.
IEC, www.hkcchoir.org. I go full the wed site and the age limit is 4 years old. My son is 29 months only.
Could you have other funny course can advance.

Like drawing, ... (at kowloon side)

My son is 28 months old! (same same situation!) I don't know any course about drawing. (still looking for but recently is too busy!) But since he is still young for painting, I just let him use crayon at home. And sometimes he would draw on the wall!

Would you all let your boys become dirty--play everywhere, sleep on the ground? The teacher in playgroup asked me to let him do whatever he liked (in terms of safety). So I let him play fighting with my hubby last night! I usually stop this kind of playing! I'm afraid he will become bully in school.

Any preparation for K1? Discipline or creativity, which one you think is more important?

your son is also 28 months old, is he a 0411 or 0410 BB

It is not eager to learn drawing at this age, just let him draw whatever he wants. Maybe you join 塗鴉班. My girl hates dirty, she shows no interest if her hands having color

For growing up, I heard that 盧峄畫室 is very famous on drawing. You can phone and leave the name to quene up.
