So far I dont think there is a lot of homework in the first/ 2nd week .... it is reasonable...but I overheard from old girls that sometimes they will have more than 7 homework to be finsihed...anyway, here is the homework that my daugther did in the past few days:
Day 1: Penmanship- Writing A-Z / Chinese: Writing own name ( 10 rows with 2 sets in a row)
Day 2: Maths ( 2 pages)
Yesterday: 2 pages of Chineses exercise (very simple), penmanship from A-Z (capital and small letter) , 1 maths exercise
Besides, some homework are already done in the class, so she spent only about 10 mins in finishing the penmanship yesterday.
Dear Chingching8888,
Jessica is adapting quite well apart from missing her old school as it has a very nice campus.
Actually Jessica got into St Francis by round 3, i.e. "knocking door"after round 2 - she was originally allocated to Kei Wan at Aldrich Bay but I dont like the school and try St. Francis and thanks for the blessing from God - Jessica is doing good at interview and got into the school.

kakab,
Thanks for your information.
Did your daughter adopt to the school? Did your daughter got in St.Francis in round 1 or round 2 luncky draw?
The school days start at 8:30am and finish off at 3:30pm. I was told that some school bus line due to "whatever reason" will carry both secondary and primary students thus some students are in school as early as 7:30am. You need to find out whether you would like to take the school arranged school bus route.
According to the 2008-09 school bus schedule, 中環係"Cane Road" line邊到上車呀, 幾點鐘 from 7:15am to 7:25am. To be hornest, you better ask 2570 0549 for Mrs Liu.
