We went to the campus for a tour (and then the open day) last June or so (we were looking for K1).  There are lots of things to play in there.  The building was a little dark but overall we liked it a lot.

My son attended woodland playgroup (from 18 months+), stepping stone (2yr 4 months - 2 yr 8 months), and will move to pre-school (2 yr 8 month+) in Jan.

The key is which teacher you get. You may apply to the school for the specific teacher you want.

Highly recommend Ms Jaya (whose class is highly organized, although a bit strict) - her playgroup is not in the main campus and is held in a standalone classroom in the Universal Trade Center on Caine Road. As far as I am concerned, a good teacher is much more important than those fancy facilities.

We actually transferred to another teacher (Ms E***)'s playgroup for one week which is located in the new main campus, but couldn't tolerent with her wild class. So in the end we trasnferred back to Ms Jaya and stayed with her until our little one approaches the stepping stone age.

Mr Jason (the only male playgroup/stepping stone teacher) is relevant strict too and his class is full of fun. Many parents like him (maybe partly becuase he is quite good looking^^)

A couple of my frds said Ms J is great too.

Oh thanks a lot for the sharing. May try playgroup first. what you mean by strict teaching method? i ...

Examples of an organized class (disclaimer: I liked it; but other parents may have different view):

1. When the teacher opens a box of toys, the kids are expected to come to the teacher one by one to get his or her toy, as opposed to running to the front altogether to "fight" for the toys

2. When a kid runs away during circle time, the teacher would stop teaching and remind that kid to come back to the circle, as opposed to simply ignoring that kid

3. When it is time for "tidy up", some kids prefer to throw toys into the box or on the floor, making a big noise. A "strict" teacher would ask such kid to pick up his toy and re-do the "put it back" action again and again, until he puts the toys back gently.

4. Snack time -- kids are required to line up first, wash hands, choose their plates and cups and sit down properly to eat. When finished, the kids are reminded to put their plates and cups back, return their mat and push back the chairs to under the table.

Ms Jaya is really good at all the above - She is also very patient and knows how to attract kids' attention.  I would say she is "organized" more than "strict". My boy becomes more decinplied (but remains active and curious) and independent under her guidance.
