Yeah! In fact this is one of the criteria that I used when selecting schools initially for my daughters. Those schools should be actively involve in organizing joint school activities and from my personal experience, I gained the most valuable life experience through such activities to gain training on leadership, organization skills, communications, crisis management, etc.

Hi Christi,

It is getting tougher and tougher to help out here. It happened about a month ago that when I was trying to share information with my account, there were a number of members complained that being an administrator here I shouldn't involve in discussions!!!

So now, I need to mark my post each time with different footnote to differentiate.

I have also joked with many parents with this before!

Are you sure it was Kln WY? It doesn't have primary school but secondary only wor. Or is it HK WY? These two are pretty close back in the school days (many joint school activities)

Haha, I think the discussion can be dated back to the time when we decided to marry someone - one should marry to someone who graduated from famous schools.

Just like my friend - she graduated from St Mary's while her husband graduated from Kln WY. Both of them studied at St Paul's Co-ed in secondary. They got two kids (1 boy 1 girl) and can "utilise" fully the advantage left by my friend. Envy

我覺得香港家長其中一個悲哀係被制度迫得不能有遠見. 為了升中派位, 就未必可以在高小階段預備中學的學習路向, 和培養正確的學習態度. 高小成績好但去到中學成績連連下滑比比皆是.

不過都提醒了我, 係時候升呢去中學版, 唔好成日在談幼果邊流連.

有D學校, 成績跟唔上, 唔係話不合格呢種, 都會暗示你走架, 當然也有些學校好好, 總之, 成績好就唔憂冇好學校, 咁多BAND 1中學, 唔一定要入一條龍, 呢個係我個人睇法

細嚼後看多左好多時光倒流再選擇的不同角度分析、意見及袋左好多野落袋，但是亦增添了無形的壓力。
