I want to try this path because I think the quality of teaching in famous local schools should be good, and they are significantly cheaper than international schools.
I believe the quality of teaching in int school is good. We can afford international schools but it does pose certain financial pressure on our family, especially since we want to save money to send the kids for overseas universities.
So my ‘plan’ is to see if she can secure a place in international kindergarten, and thus in an international elementary school and so on, while supplementing with outside classes and try interview good local schools (private and dss mainly) when she gets to k2.
Does this make sense ? Thanks a lot for any advice!
