I will not take a school bus with my daughter because they rejected me last time.

另外, 想問多一樣, 星期五halloween, 我地k1係唔係唔需要扮鬼扮馬架 ? 因為我見k2 & k3 都要扮, 我又冇收過通告 ..即著番校服返學就得 ?

I checked with the teacher last Friday, she said no halloween party for K1. I really wonder why N1, K2 & K3 have but not K1!!!

其實訂校服果張通告已經講左勒 ~ 11月10日正式換季 ~ 即下個星期一 ...

Some K1 students were at HK Park that day. Some of my son's classmates dressed up. Didn't their parents read school notiec? consider that it's dangerous for school outing where students were not dressed in school uniform.

Parents are not allow on the school bus anymore. I used to take the school bus with my children until this Sept. It had something to do with one parent had an accidence on the school bus and made it public on newspaper, so school decided not to allow parents on school bus.

如果小朋友有反應, 有問有答, 多數都冇問題. But the problem is how to get your child to response during the interview. For me my older daugher was in N1 (a new pm class was opened in Jan 2005) and went right into K1 2005/2006 without any interview. For my son who went to N1 in Sept 2007, went through with the interview last Oct and it was "hell". First of all there was too many children. It was a very hot Sat morning in late Oct. Toys were everywhere, in the school yard, in the hall, with an at least "TWO HOURS" waiting (if your interview is anytime after 10am). The delay was due to 小朋友冇反應. Teachers will ask your child to take a break & try later, so the line up just getting longer & longer. I asked the school why my son having been an existing N1 student had to go through with the K1 interview again where my daugher did no have to 3 years ago. The answer was Nursary & Kindergarten are seperate now. You don't automaticlly get the place, it also give kindergarten a chance to "pick" the student. BTW, you'll be told that your child is "smart" if he/she got into the am class. My older daughter did not stay to study P1 because we got into a petty good girl school but 1/3 of K3 classmates went on to P1. I found that the materials are very difficult compare to my daughter in P1. First of all in K3, you will be using P1 Longman English testbook where in P1, it's using P2 testbook.

好可憐呀... for pm classes, sometime it takes 架校車 a long time才返到屋企. First of all, it could be the school buses are being used for other school outing/activities, such as taking students from Ching Wah St campus to Breamer Hill campus or other school activities. (school usually won't tell you ahead of time) Secondly due to the increased numbers of students, the school changed the bus route (to better utilited the services) without inform parents or make any changes on the bus schedule. For us last year, my son was also in pm class where we took Bus G, our stop should be stop no. 4 according to the table. Since parents were allow on school bus then, I found that Bus G went to City Plaza to drop off students before it would follow the Bus G route. Finally the traffic is usually very bad around that time in North Point. I would suggested that you to call other mothers taking school bus to check or if 係校巴站等仔over 15 minutes better 打回學校問... 結果. This also happen in the am class too. In the school bus time table, the arrival time was 12:10 but the 校巴 usually arrive at 12:30.

International 班 is the other way around. 大部份都係英語老師教英文,45mins PTH. For my experiences, the English was enought (some of my child's classmate would take phonic class outside). For PTH, reading is okay but not much writing homework, nor dictation, nor exam. Not very pushing.

My daughter (am class) takes Route G home, the schoolbus arrives Taikoo at 12.00-12.10, very punctual, never happen to arrive at 12.30am from 7 Sep till now.

Are there many students get sick these days ?

My son was sick since 6/11. He got fever for the whole week. Poor him and us ..He finally recover now .. but he has lost 4 lbs already. I believe he got
it from his classmates ...
