For the winter uniform, I just write a short note in diary that 'we wl not order' and told my boy - like to summer uniform buy direct from the shop (in case class teacher asked).

Have you asked the class teacher whether she has any good suggestions?  Suppose they're professional teachers, they should have more experience handling children.

If your boy attended 'activity' kinder, he might have such problem because now only 2.5 weeks in primary.  I think you need to give more time to him.

If you're interested, you can try try the method I used 2 years ago when my son started his K2 at St. Jo. Kinder:  (1) Put a clock in front of him when he's doing homework.  Tell him the time you wish him to finish his homework, say 15 minutes;
(2) Tell him before starting that if he can do that, you will give him a sticker, etc.;
(3) And tell him that he will have a short break between 2 homework;
(4) REMEMBER give him a short break and let him to do sth. he likes the most;
(5) If he can do all homework (eg. 4 pieces of homework) within the time, you buy him sth. he wants or let him to do sth. he likes (eg. play games, watch TV, etc.)

多謝各位嘅意見及關心。上週工作太忙，所以未能回覆。其實老師都有教我要叫阿仔抄寫多啲常用字，以及為他安排時間管理。我已根據各位提供的意見，去指導小兒改善。

近日，他可以完整地把家課冊抄完，總算鬆一口氣吧！致於做功課方面，我開始訓鍊佢自己坐定係自己房，希望日子有功，慢慢習慣吧！致於補習方面，老公不太讚成，擔心做成依賴。

My son also travelled by James' bus, I can't find other companies. There are no aunties accompany in the bus and they are not enthusiastic enough; they still can't remember my son's name even there are only 10 students in the bus, and I have to take initiative in calling them to check the drop-off time on special occasions. Hope it's not me being too picky!
