咪操fit d 考第一.

同埋用多d 時間去學好某d 課外活動做個出色的學生.

遲d 參加小太空人計劃, 我第1次認識循道是因為佢地d 小朋友有份參加這計劃, 當時都覺得佢地好叻, 不過後來聽好多人說間學校d 職員態度好差, 先有d 打折扣

個d大空人計劃要爸爸媽媽幫手整架.  我邊識oY...
考第一又未必得.. 不過有d 驚"牙", 原來佢小一係咁淺.
至於職員呢, 聽電話d 態度真係唔得.  但係對住面見呢, 就好好多架o咼..有問必答添.  
我個仔要家姐小5先小一.. 差3年, 但係一頭一尾..就前後差4/5年讀書.

叫你朋友唔駛驚.. 講運姐個過程係. If 佢心儀油天, 咁第一一定要放油天, 因為你永遠唔知自己number係咪前, 如果個random number係全港第1, 基本上你填邊間入邊間.  係第2, 3間要費少少神囉.  4,5,6, 7打後..亂填都得架拿for 31網就..都唔夠好學校填哂佢因為.

I think jj1122 has aldy answered your question in her previous messages in this thread. I agree with her viewpoint which is more or less the same as mine.

In my opinion I think one should choose the best school that  he/she wish her kid  to enter  as first choice , don't select the school for the sake that it's comparatively easier to enter. Ignore the fact that there is a higher birth rate in Dragon's year,  the lucky draw is just a matter of luck : even if hundreds or more persons competes for 1 place, you can win if you have luck (the mark six always has a winner but not me). On other hand, even if only 2 person competes for 1 place you can still be a loser if you are unfortunate.

The second and third choice should belong to the schools that the parent can accept but not on the same standing as the first choice. Otherwise the lower choices will be wasted.

By the way, back in January when I am selecting my daughter's primary school priorities in the collection station at YMT, I stayed for quite a while and took a glimpse on what the other parents select as their choices around me. I found quite a number of parents put the two YMT catholic primary schools as their 1st and second choices (I learn from sources that a lot of parents select like that order, either 1st/2nd) , but there are still parents put  循道 as their first choice, much to my surprise. So I think the best school for 1st choice is not easy to tell for parents in this net. (Not like net 41)

哈哈, 你當時咁明目張膽咁睇呀? 我只係敢用眼尾咋.. 我驚其他家長唔鐘意.   

其實一開始我都心儀舊油天..但係當做左成年research 之後..我開始覺得有中學backup係一個比較穩健既選擇.  當然間中學唔能夠太差啦.  因為小學已經令我咁緊張, 中學一定更加不得了.  小學我仲有信心control 到個女, 中學我一d 都無.   所以好既中學對我好重要. 相信有一部份家長既心態都會係咁, 所以如果係男仔揀循道第一並唔出奇.  論band 1學生, 大家都差不過5x%.  派英文中學循道比油天高20%.  當然係由於大部份都入番循中.  我希望令小朋友對自己學校有歸屬感, 所以我想中小學都係同一間.  油天d方面就一定做唔到.
如果唔介意女校St Mary真係太必然既選擇, 有咩好得過一抽到9年唔洗煩?  不過太可惜始終無運.

如果我comment你朋友既排位, 我怕對佢有影響.  因為始終d個係好個人既選擇嘛.  不過都係個句.. 新舊油天放向1 同 2 = 放棄左第2選擇既機會.. 唔係一個明智既填表策略.
