感謝大家的分享！女孩子一般都會有點心事，亦都唔會on demand幾時問佢就講俾屋企人聽。阿女仲細不過依家都已經係心情好時先想同我傾，我亦都估計唔到佢幾時想傾，唯有be there as much as I can捉時機。到十幾歲，如果媽媽不在身邊，又唔同time zone，可以點樣維持關係？

到十幾歲，佢寧願同同學/朋友分享。不過如果關係係好嘅，幾個月唔見冇咩影響。家長都要改變心態，明白佢唔會咩都講，唔好夾硬要知。
我一仔兩女都喺英國寄宿，平時term time都係無尾飛陀，返黎香港我哋都可以傾通宵...

sma真心勁，其它排名高嗰啲，只係收好多大陸人谷高個成績，入咗去如果數學係最高個set，好似返咗大陸讀書咁

我唔識人喺嗰度讀.佢收生應該好特別.
佢話其他好top嗰啲多中國人唔係呢間.我就真係知道一間super top嘅齋女校有四分一係中國人.

SMA sixth form 只收 5 個新生 （包括本地和海外）

要睇吓係唔係單靠大陸人谷成績，我諗要仔細分別比較語文及人文科學等大陸人較弱的成績會比較公道。

點解咁細個要送出去讀書呢，通常只係講正面，永遠唔講問題

學生會覺得好孤獨，佢哋會病, 發燒得個捱字，只係俾粒退燒藥你，會運動整親，整親冇跌打酒㗎，繃帶都冇一條，仲有飛機延誤，行李滯留啊，香港學校有社工，英國有但都唔了解你….

重要六個termbreak 安排，call 架車接送閑閑一個鐘，路上發生咩事？或者遇到咩壞人點算呢？

香港人感覺好似成個英國嘅學生都係寄宿，其實英國好少學生寄宿，如果係白人，真係多數屋企或學生有問題先寄宿

我女係中四過去，都覺得太早

好多太細嘅學生出現問題，好少家長會講翻

介唔介意我問吓學校寄宿比例如何？因為讀得開心嗰啲好似都係讀寄宿比例高嘅學校（七成以上），都一樣有白人去，應該唔孤獨啩？

大把嘢玩，好多同學，唔會孤獨，可能你嗰間少人寄宿。

你講嗰啲發燒有冇藥嘅問題可能存在，不過我覺得係生活習慣文化差異，高低年級冇分別。

飛機延誤真係睇彩數，我香港飛倫敦都可能有三十次，未試過出事。

我認同英國人寄宿嘅小朋友入面，家庭有問題嘅比例比出面平均高，通常係父母離異，但係家庭正正常常嘅比例一定最大，好多parents meeting同weekend activity，正正常常成家人晌度。

我朋友做足功課，揀左間寄宿比例高至90%嘅。year 7, year 8 左右入學。小朋友冇話好enjoy , 讀左兩年。

後來都係決定媽媽過嚟英國住，轉day 。COVID 其中一樣另佢哋未必有好好體驗嘅原因，另一方面，其實好睇性格，

越早入就越多機會玩，有間女校y8去法國一個term，玩足成個term，幾乎唔洗點讀書

Downe House Sauveterre opened in 2020 and is the School’s second property in France. Prior to this the school successfully owned and operated a site, for over 20 years in Veyrines, before expanding operations to our current Sauveterre site close to Toulouse. The Sauveterre site is 12 acres and is managed and run by staff directly hired by Downe House, UK. The school site can board 60 students.

Pupils in the Lower Fourth (Year 8) at Downe House all spend up to a term at the School’s property in France. Most girls will spend the whole of the Michaelmas (September – December) in Sauveterre, while others will spend two field trips in France over the same term, complying with UK student visa requirements. Pupils will extend their knowledge of the culture, language and traditions of the region and the country through a tailored curriculum which includes trips and activities in the region and participating in partnership projects with local schools.

The curriculum at Downe House Sauveterre

All lessons except Mathematics are delivered in French as far as is practical. We differentiate language lessons for bilingual pupils and girls who are relatively inexperienced in the subject.

We maintain close links with academic departments in the UK and girls will study French, History, English, Geography and Mathematics, alongside distinct subjects such as SVT (Sciences de la Vie et de la Terre). Cookery and Textiles are included in the curriculum, together with Music, Drama and Art. Girls are regularly assessed throughout the term and a full written report shared at the end of their visit.
