I checked with SC by phone today & cfmed my daugther is accepted to PM session. SC said the letter will be sent to parents next week, so don't worry & just wait for one more week.

btw, I'd like to know what language U chose for the interview? I chose Eng for my daugther & her performance is just so so...! She played all games but didn't answer the shake shake cup and tried to go away after that question! I'm not sure whether English is the main concern for their school? Any comments?

hei.... can you understand what I wrote ar!! The result is not based on the performance arrrrrrrrr!! That means you still get a chance, even your kid not perform good !!

Hi safarimama,

Yes, off course i understand. 2 yrs ago, one of my friend's boy didn't answer ANY question.........even the name..................but still accepted by SC in the first round. but the other - my sister's boy can answer all question in English.............but Waiting list?????

Very sad to tell you that Kentville only puts my child in waiting list. However, she was accepted by SC in am session.

Yeah, I know it from other thread. 希望妳唔好話我馬後砲, Kentville tends to admit big boys and girls though they still have small children born in Dec. I have no surprise when you tell me that SC has admitted your girl to am class because this is their practice. Small children are easy to get an am class's seat in SC. People said this is a kind of 鐵票 : parents will not give up the seat offered by her.

Anyway, SC is also a good kindy. I bet you will register and give up requesting a seat from Kentville. Is your girl assigned to Norfolk campus?

me too 明日要交聖若望留位費, 我call SC 問佢話收左, 我依家可慳番...
聖若望留位費$550.- 就合理, 但misc fee $500.- non refund ... 我覺得好唔合理...
我本來諗左條c"橋"... last min 先到, 扮唔知... 無睇到張紙, 扮帶唔夠$$ ...留位費就照交, misc fee 就拖住先...

Actually, my kid didn't perform very well during SC interview and neither Kentville's too. I believe SC accepts my kid since both me and my husband are from quite reputable primary/secondary school, stated in the application form. Other than that, I feel very satisfied with my performance during SC interview as they care how the parents behave and talk like as well. It's very true of your saying that Kentville tends to admit big boys and girls unless those small girl/boys are very diligent during the interview. However, I am still eager to send my kid to Kentville very much. I have already send the request letter yesterday and hope will have good news soon. SC is very good KG too, it serves as a backup for me and I will be very happy to send my kid to SC too. I just called SC to ask for the result, but I forgot to ask which campus was assigned to. What's the difference between Essex and Norfolk of SC?

Would you mind to share how did you make decision between SC and Kentville last year?

我覺得每間學校都會以歷年收生經驗去收多少少學生,SC及Kenville都唔例外,我諗唔止Kenville會擔心計錯數,SC都會怕唔夠課室和老師!唯一解釋就係可能SC真係好多人o既first choice,所以真係好少人放棄,但一定有!相信唔係SC效率低,講真邊間幼稚園唔想收多d學生,收多d學費wor,但真係冇位又點call waiting list呢?

我個仔in 嗰陣都係好合作,有同老師say good morning,答晒所有問題,又有跟足老師指示做,所有matching都啱晒,又有shake the cup,find out the same one. 走時有say thank you & bye bye, 都係得waiting list.
真想知道收咗嗰d,表現係點?定根本唔關表現事?
