I think I better send a note to his class teacher to ask about this because I asked my son, he said they don't need workbook. I think the situation is different in different class.

My son does not join activity yet because I want to wait some more information. I remember in open day, we visited school and there are a lot of activities. I will wait for that to plan altogether since we are not living very close to school. He is learning swim and close to complete freestyle and therefore, I don't want to change. Also, my main concern is the swimming location in winter time.

其次，關於音樂班，我已打電話比MRS YIP問有關收生情況，她說如果有家長希望仔仔可以在學校學音樂，但在第一輪抽不到的話，都不緊要。她會看看情況，如有學生還想學的而人數又夠的話，學校可能會考慮再開多班。所以未抽到的家長，可以打電話問問。

Hi all moms,

Could anyone share with me about your experience in getting a place in DBSPD?  My son will try to apply this year and just wonder is there anything I can do for getting a higher chance?  Is there any benefit on learning some specific sports or musical instructment?

Dear bbk,

I agree with you. When my son finished spelling on first day for 10 words, and the other day is another 10 then he will forget the first 10. Since this is his first dictation, I feel he is trying hard but is too much for him.

Hope he had a good experience and work harder in next dictation.

Have you enjoyed the trip at Disneyland yet? I also want to know if the Disneyland is good or not. Actually, we booked the Disneyland Hotel at Chinese New Year but we heard a lot of bad news. Now we are considering cancelling the booking. Can you give us some advice?

I have read a lot of your posting. Thanks for your sharing always. Know that you went through the DBSPD P1 application last year. Some questions that want your help:-

1.  Is there any group game in the first round of interview?
2.  How many children are there in the group? What were the children assigned to do?
3.  Any particular questions asked in the interview that you still remember now?

I have a son who will apply this year. Hope you can share the info with me. Thanks very much.

昨日去完Disneyland,很好玩,我地下午才入去(1pm),先玩巴斯,不用排隊(玩了2次),然後玩飛碟
之後我地行去取維尼fast pass,同玩crazy cup又係唔駛排
到3:30分睇完巡遊,我地去左坐船同坐火車,再睇3D mickey(也不用等)
5:30就sea-view食鈑,65/位,五送1湯,在adventure那邊的
之後去取lion king fast pass睇最後一場7:45p,過翻去玩維尼
之後玩埋木馬,小飛象(2次)
睇完Lion king出來8:15p
出翻去美國小鎮shoppoing,其實係邊行邊shopping,
到9pm睇埋煙花就走
除左太空山,golden  mickey(我地去日本玩過)樹屋,我地無玩之外,(其實要玩都可以玩倒),想玩的都玩晒

除巡遊同放煙花d人至出哂來,其餘唔覺多人

另記得帶帽,傘,太陽油,風扇仔,水樽(可入去裝)
毛巾仔,太陽鏡,相机
裏面得銀通
HKBank ,Hang Seng card就要襟定錢

d芝麻脆皮/米奇頭/黑加侖子jelly雪條可以試下

囝囝話今天老師共默了八句句子及一篇小文章(unseen)，囝囝話很多字都唔識。老師即時改簿但沒有派給學生。但囝囝話老師在改簿時已經話好多同學都唔識及默錯字。
嗯﹗囝囝話下次會早些溫書，真是一次好經驗﹗

你囝囝那班是否已通知中文默書﹖我們仍未有消息。

問題就只記得second interview問家長,30秒介紹自己個囝
一排6人,有個timer計時
然後囝囝獨自1人,問左d擦膠有Й分別,比4張咭排故事

Dear all P1 parents, ,
my son is studying in the DBSPD P1, he just finished 1 st time of Eng Dict. today.  We have work hard with him to study before, but my son still cannot remeber all well before Dict..  
I think it is too much for him in the short time, and he is the "small boy" in the class.  It is a little bit hard for the "small boy" studying the P2 Eng level.
I told my son that it is OK when we try our best, no matter what will be the result.

Today, he told me that after the school, the teacher say all the world in a sentence, and the speed is fast for him.  He cannot follow the last two sentences, and some of words he cannot spell well.  
I told him that it is OK, because we have try our best, but we can do better for the next time.  My son show his understanding, and he will do better for the next time.
I think it is a good experience for the children to learn the different between Primary and Kindergarten.

我囝都話默句子,佢話有幾個字唔識,佢識就寫,唔識就打x,例如,calendar,佢話唔記得en同r,佢就calxxdax,我同佢講,你好叻,你都記得5個字,記多3個就記得晒

今日佢同我講,出左1次位,習了3個名,我就話真係叻,成日都只出左1次位,不過仲可以進步d,唔出位就仲叻
習了3個名,好少事,下次習2個,再習1個,完全唔習,慢慢來

串字我用左拚音法+火車卡+聯想法
e.g:leap,就有一隻lion,佢食左一隻egg,跟住食apple,唔夠飽再食pineapple
