今天收到通告, 要交樂器費. 已有音樂堂的FILE, 內有樂器的簡單指示圖, 又有校歌的歌譜.

Oh missing missing again:

Only a blank clear file
Only one sheet of paper, believed to be the cover page
Lost instrument instruction sheets but Esther has faxed over (Thanks!)
No 校歌的歌譜

We already paid $27 a few days ago in cash...so just complete the form to say we paid!

Really? Even English Day Book I haven't seen it so far !!! I have seen the music book some days ago but it returned to school on the next day.

Hi all

Class 1M's progress is still a myth to me.  Except English Day Book, I have seen no other take-home work.  On a positive side, the kids might have finished the task in class.

3)"迎月、品茶、賞藝術"你哋參唔參加呀!

Really? Even English Day Book I haven't seen it so far !!! I have seen the music book some days ago but it returned to school on the next day.

The English Day Book is a folder with papers which the kid writes everyday from Monday to Thursday on each day's happenings.  Then parents sign and give a few words like Well done, great job!  Returning on Friday and Teacher may put in her comments.  That's what we have.  Really haven't seen this?  It's our 2nd week doing it.

But of course we're missing a few other things leh!!!!  you can see my post below....

1) 我都唔知音樂file 的練習紙是不是開始學陶笛才要練? 但個囡囡第一天帶回家時, 因為在項目欄上寫了song,  佢就練習了一次唱校歌,之後家長簽名。
2) "The sky is falling" 只作了最後一頁, 我個囡囡堅持話可以1頁也可以2頁, 之前問佢要點做, 佢就話唔一定要做晒, 但又要填顏色, 因太夜才知, 結果做唔晒, 星期五下午才完成, 都唔知係唔係
3) 個囡囡話"同步閱讀"用普通話讀, 我哋就按照時間表, 每天讀一篇.
4) 我都覺得拼音教得好快, 唯有盡量溫.
5) 我無諗住去"迎月"、"茗茶"

Oooops!  So it's Esther in 1B.  I checked with JJ again on "the Sky is falling" and he still said "no"!

囡囡提我今個星期五是月會，記得俾她穿formal dress，因當日有PE堂，老師已吩咐他們返學著formal dress，再帶PE衫和波鞋返學校換。

我都曾經在早上等校車時問過讀G3的小朋友，假如月會當日有PE堂，駛唔駛帶PE衫和波鞋返學校換，小朋友就話唔需要，因為有月會當日就唔會有PE堂，會有其他活動代替PE堂，所以唔需要帶，請問是否這樣？

Below from my son ( 1B )

- Math : 1 block of exercise per day
- Chinese : Continuous to memorize Chinese Poem.  2 'dictation' were also done, just some chinese phonics.  My son say if they got 5 full marks, will get 'candy' from teacher.
- English : Ms Karen is abs yesterday, did not distribute the Day book.
- Music : My son said as the teacher need to tidy up all the receipt, so, the instrument will be distributed later.. Actually they "owned" it already but just return back to teacher after class.
- SD : Continue the topics of the usage of computer
- Libarary : Could borrow books since yesterday, he had borrowed 3 and per him, a long q there for borrowing and he said Doctor Law very happy about it.

Thanks others for sharing the monthly assembly.  Seems the school and the students start to run their routinue gradually, so, don't worry too much.  They are doing very good job already.
