4個round後, 會再做urine metal test.

奶類製品同麥類製品唔可以食, 另外我仔仔對雞蛋敏感都唔可以食.

早餐我會比仔仔食雞肉, 牛肉, 豬肉米粉, *意粉, *通心粉, *pancake, *corn flakes/crispy rice, *方包"查"*朱古力醬(只有星期日有, 我仔會好開心)同rice milk (chocolate / vanilla), 煮粉d soup會用一隻pacific ge chicken broth (不過好貴, 所以都會加水煮)

午餐同晚餐會一樣, 因我會留飯送比仔仔帶返學食.
飯, 所有肉類, 菜都可以, 只是調味品要用*豉油, *cornflour, 不用現成的sauce就可以.

晚上水果我多數比佢食梨, 因為grapes同apple ge糖份, 會有yeast problem.

Teatime都有好多choice, *cookies, *bourbon biscuits, *朱古力, *薯片, *cake(要自製, 所以都係一星期一次, 又係好happy).

未開始biomedical treatment同gfcf時, 其實我仔仔非常偏食, 而家佢雖然gfcf, 其實佢食ge食品種類比之前多左好多,  同enjoy, 所以我都想比佢食enzyme, 等佢係特別日子如birthday party, christmas都可以同其他小朋友一樣咁享受食野ge樂趣.  

GFCF後先開始睇書, d研究話奶類製品同麥類製品對某d自閉小朋友, 有"鴉片"作用, 影响佢地神經系統, 同時佢地偏偏更加只係食呢兩類食品, 唔食其他野, 我自己覺得我仔仔就係呢類小朋友.

我之前有些少 confused, 以為cfgf diet 係'starch' 唔食得,即係飯,米粉,意粉, 通心粉......都唔食得,現在睇番是DSMA test 期間唔食得,我有冇講錯?

咁做DSMA test 期間,小朋友食什麽代替飯,米粉,意粉, 通心粉.........這些主粮呢.

請問'麥類製品'有什麽? 你說grapes同apple ge糖份, 會有yeast problem.咁有什麽水果唔食得?

Hi All,

Some say apples, grapes and all kinds of berries should be taken out (we were so advised by a naturopath some time ago) but some say these are okay (Dr. Trodd's protocol).  Dr. Lam talks less about the yeast outgrowth thing and focuses more on detoxification but he advises us to take out dairy (cow milk, cheese etc.) to avoid caesin.  He also advises not to take grapes, not for the reason of grapes as a kind of food unfriendly but something (if my memory goes right) about insecticides(?)

There is a rather comprehensive list in Dr. Trodd's DAN protocol about substitutes.  I have a soft copy of the 2004 version.  Let me dig it out...

We haven't really follow the CFGF thing.  Tests show that our son has no sign of allergy to gluten and caesin.  And there is no observable behavioural problems of him after taking CG food.  (Rather sometimes it is the other way round if you deprive him of apples, berries, bread, etc.)  He is not very fond of cow milk and only asks for it very ocassionally.  Now we change to rice milk and almond milk (with cocoa) and he rather likes them.  The rice milk we used is made from brown rice and sunflower seeds and is rich in Vitamin Bs.  I like it too.

We now only use supplements (Vit Bs, ALA, DMAE, Eye q, Zn and Mg drink) and the use of ALA and DMAE is moving to full dosage.  There are some ocassions of his showing smarter and more assertive (eg. use language to insist upon his idea when I say something contrary).  It is also noted from his drawing that his themes are a lot more diversified, not just restricted to lifts (He has drawn over 50 different types of lifts and washroom doors by using Paint on our PC!)  Now he does school buses, kids in his schools and teachers too and there is usually some sort of a story/ situation behind (bus going up hill; kids lining up for school buses; etc.)  Don't know if these very positive developments are due to the supplements or not.  But we will keep on trying!

According to your son's supplement list, Dr. Lam seems to use part of the protocol of Dr. Amy Yasko.  I remember Dr. Trodd's comment, any supplement could make a kid hyper and stimming.  It depends on the balance of good and bad effects.  I suggest you to reduce the full dosage of ALA, L-carnosine, taurine as well as B12 injection to half to see any effect.  You can increase to full dosage of each one individually, slowly and gradually.  Keep the L-carnosine before bed time as it helps to sleep better.  

As for the genetic test, I'll let you know the procedure of how to order the test online after I get the full details from Dr. Amy Yasko.

係呀, 我只會在DMSA期間個3日減少starch食品, 我都會比仔仔食少少飯, 主糧我計劃會係肉類.

"麥類製品"正確係麩質(gluten), 最簡單就係所有麵粉/小麥粉做的, 例如麵包, 餅乾, 另外好多調味品都會有gluten.

Grapes同apple, 我係睇children with straving brains講(第104-105頁), 可以食梨同berries代替.  因為我仔仔係學校一星期會食兩次萍果, 所以屋企我唔會再比佢食.

I am still observing but surely his attention has improved.
My son is not very good at drawing but he is at ease using computer.  His drawing is still somewhere at the stage of "match stick" type figures and I don't see he has any gift in drawing.  Rather, he has perfect pitch.

Thank you for your info about Stephen Wiltshire.  I watched a BBC programme about autistic savants last year and came to know him.  He is a real genius!

你如果要求驗血驗肝和腎功能,Dr.Lam一定肯轉介.如果身體沒有特發性問題,3-6個月後才驗.今次真係好多supplement,不過水劑易食得多.我自己都有食螺旋藻排毒.

我仔仔都係食三日dmsa, 每日食3次, 但我無每次食前和食後空肚1個鐘, 上兩次食呢, 我就每隔6小時食1次, 因為我睇yahoo個邊同我有一位朋友都話每次隔ge時間要平均咁先好(但yahoo佢地個protocol唔同), 不過下次我會每隔4小時1次(我唔識講點解, 但睇完一輪d forum同dan個website後有此決定):

兩次dmsa course後, 會做blood test驗肝和腎功能(要之前空肚8小時驗, 所以dr. trodd約個8:30am去佢clinic, 咁半夜開始唔食嘢就得). 其實dr. trodd有少少因為我成日問住所以recommend做, 再兩個course後(即total 4個course)就驗urine check toxic metal.

我無問是否每個月要驗一次肝和腎功能, Dr. Trodd只係叫我仔食4個course, 做urine test, 再睇吓結果, 先再決定.  所以我無問Dr. Trodd 最多可以食幾多個course, 因為我會睇吓DMSA個效果如何才決定.  我睇Children with straving brains一書, 通常都要6個月至2年, 直到見唔到再有明顯進步至停, 另外書裡面有講, 當DMSA令體內toxic metal減到一個底水平, 就會加ALA, 排除在腦內的toxic metal.
