這不是真實的。以我所知，的確有數位老師（大多老師都是同時任教中小學的，所以很難說是"primary teachers" or "secondary teachers")將會離職，但他們全都是自行請辭的，不是被解僱。另外，亦有一些"on probation"（多以part-time形式聘用)的老師因表現不好不被續約。

Can you tell us more on the arrangement of teaching since some Logos parent said the school compressed the content into ten or eleven years and save up the time to train students attend exam.. Will it be too hurry or rely on parent support(teaching)? How do they teach language since they employ less NET, will they follow the traditional teaching method and train student just for exam.?

約10人（即約5％），他說開升留級會時沒有記下確實人數，但肯定不是外傳（差不多一班）那麼多。

"Teaching arrangement"方面，據我理解現今香港課程有很多重覆的地方，例如中一的英文多用開學初期為同學"重溫"他們在小學已學過的gramma，數學亦會"重溫"一些小學已學過的skills或一些名詞的英文名稱。（這是必須的安排，因為其他中學多收取來自不同小學的同學，他們的程度很參差，要時間調整至相應水平）由於真道是一條龍學校，同學們的水平差不多，可省卻不少"重溫"或"調整水平"的時間，在某些科目上（例如科學），同學們亦因此會較其他學校的同學學得較深入。例如今年的DS1同學，他們學的electricity（包括parallel & series circuit, resistance etc.)和air（包括pressure, formation of wind)就是中學才學的課題。

至於是否很依賴家長合作？我覺得"是"（雖然校長說不鼓勵）。眼看"親友老師"批改學生作業時慨嘆學生的作業質素十分參差，原因是有些家長真的完全放手的讓子女"愉快"學習，結果不交功課的又有，交空卷的亦有。所以，我想不論哪一所學校，家長多關心子女的學業，定期檢子女家課（年紀小的可親自檢查，但隨著子女成長，可教導和訓練他們自治的能力），關心子女學習進度是必須的，是嗎？

課程是否太緊迫？讓我引述"親友老師"的回應吧！「對一些不是太"聰明"（個別科目論，即各人有自己的專長，有些同學中文好些，有些卻在科學上學得較快）的同學來說，課程確實有些緊迫！」

"語文"(是英文吧）方面，NET教的主要是FS1至FS3同學的Oral和Phonics課及高年後的英文課（多以oral為主），其他英文課（如gramma etc.)都會由其他英文老師(當中亦包括不是以NET形式請的外籍老師和在外國請回來的華人老師，也有本地老師）教。"親友老師"說學校沒有向老師交待下年會請多少NET，所以"they employ less NET"的說法未知是否正確。"親友老師"說去年學校經agent請了三位NET，但學期中三位NET的工作證出了問題須暫時停止教務（但他們是在校園由學校提供住宿的），他們補辦手續後已歸隊教書了。"親友老師"說校方曾表示會在今年轉用新的agent，以免重蹈覆轍。

"Traditional"與否其實見仁見智，現在很多傳統小學的教學方法都很活潑有趣，實言，我和"親友老師"也強烈感覺這不是真道的什麼特色。

"親友老師"說他在小學不會克意訓練學生考試技巧，況且，真道（低年級）的考試不是太嚴肅的（只像遊戲般），所以沒有什麼需要訓練。但在高年級（DS開始和中學）"親友老師"就有在平日習作和持續評估時教學生和訓練他們的考試和答題技巧。

assessment report 中有兩個評分earning Assessment指同學在評估中的表現，最好的是１，最差的是４，至於要在評估中達到什麼程度才會得到１就視乎每次評估而定，評分是由所有任教該科的老師跟科主任開會後決定的。而Class Participation指同學在平日上課時的參與程度，這是比較主觀的評分，但由於所有老師都是任教全級的，所以不會有不公平的情況；如果同一科是由多位老師任教，評分則會由所有任教老師開會決定。

我想問 06/07 年五年級有冇挿班生位, 因我已經幫大仔報名, 已經完成了筆試, 但一路都收唔到通知面試,
我想問係冇位定係冇被選中,如果今次選唔中, 會唔會有其他方法可以容易D, 因為真係好想仔仔入到真道

I think you need to wait until August. At that time the school may know how many seats are available. If your kid is not accepted in this round, there are still chance as there are always new students joining Logos in all the year round.

but the notice said there will only be 7 classes for DS3 next year, so either the class size is bigger or the number of repeater is more than 10.

If it was true, the class size would probably be slightly bigger, around 33 students per class?
Or, another guess w/b students leaving the school.

if it is the latter, the number of student leaving is huge, i would rather take the former guess.
