I am still wait for the confirmation of interview time and want to have an early interview.  SInce for my experience, no need to wait for a long time for early interview but for late interview.

The teacher should put the appointment confirmation slip inside your son's schoolbag.

I received it yesterday, interview time 11:00am.  Guess I need to wait for 2 hours at least.

Last year, we are the last one to interview, wait for almost 3.5 hours.

Hi Tautaubb,

I decided to take Ching Ching to school myself.  She is much much happier than before.  She song when we were on the way back to school.  Glad that she did not cry at night anymore.  But she is still said no school in the morning cos she is very sleepy.

How's your son?

Hi all KCS mami!

I would like to know if there is any difference between local stream and international stream (which is another KCSinternational kindergaten). Will local stream also teach both mandarin and english? Then why need to have international stream?

Can some mami explain a bit? My baby will apply for N1 next year....

係呀, 果日我奶奶接車摸到亞女手仔冷冰冰,佢都話, 老師或者跟車ee點解唔比外套亞女著
跟住之後果幾日,亞女入課室前我都比佢著定外套先, 怕佢凍死都冇人同佢著外套
有日我打書亞女係學校攞返黎本書, 最後一頁講,老師會教曉佢地,[表示冷, 要添衣] ,希望亞女真係學識啦

各位媽媽, 你地囝囝囡囡星期日interview結果如何? 我囝囝in完後老師同我地講「我們9月份再見啦」, 咁應該係取錄左? 係呢, 正式取錄通知會幾時收到咖?

講返個interview, 等左1個半鍾先有得in, 期間囝囝玩到個心創晒! 佢嘅表現其實麻麻:
*唔肯講自己個名
*問佢幾歲唔講, 只豎起2隻手指
*叫佢數車卡, 佢就讀車身上面d數字  , 好彩之後數提子都數到
*問佢香蕉食唔食得, 佢寧寧頭(以為佢諗有皮所以唔食得), 但係問佢點解佢又唔講
*問佢鍾意去邊度玩, 鍾意玩乜, 佢講左一堆野, 但係連我都唔知佢講乜!

佢咁嘅表現, 我初時真係有d擔心! 希望學校真係收佢就好啦!

My son Isaac also is in N1A.
My husband brought him back for interview yesterday as I was on the plane back from China. The teacher made a mistake and two of them wait for almost 2 hours before the interview. Of course, you can image, the boy just refuse to response most of the time!! But the teacher said he is OK and confirmation letter will be send one month later.
I thought there should be no interview for K1. It may be just a gesture to their fairness to those not attending the N1 class. They will have a very clear picture of the child during the class anyway!!

星期日interview 我本來約咗11:00,我地早咗半個鈡到,一到咗學校即刻去登記,但都要等到12:30先有得見呀
亞女表現一般啦,一來等得太耐,真係玩到創咗, 二來,果日又係一早起身,又玩咗咁耐,開始扭眼訓啦,入到interview room,我地坐係近門口果張枱,難免亞女有d分心
一開始唐老師問我地講國語or 廣東話,問我地平時有冇同亞女講英文, 問亞女叫咩名,初初亞女唔多肯講野,跟住同老師玩多兩玩,佢就講好多野,老師問佢知唔知係咩生果(香蕉同提子)亞女識架,但初初又係唔講,後尾又講喎,激死,又比積木佢砌,又比故事書佢睇(lee個係亞女強項, 因為佢好like睇書) lee part 講好多野,又問佢平時係屋企玩咩,好在亞女見到老師有講早安,有講再見,仲有講謝謝,連lee d 都唔講既話,真係打定輸數, 走果時仲見到miss alla,同佢講good morning, 同goodbye & see you tomorrow,臨走比個好印象老師

我都係in 11am, 等到12:45先入去, 亞仔已經好眼訓, 老師問佢野唔多想答, 又唔望下老師(隻眼開始dump), 講唔夠兩句仲拉住要走, byebye 都冇呀, 出到課室唔夠5mins... 訓左. 真係唔知點好.
同門口個老師講, 佢都話我個仔等左好耐可能會影響表現.

我想問下係唔係會收唔番d舊生架, 即係n1不一定升k1架.
真係擔心死我啦.

I checked with the nursery teacher last Friday.  She said it has very high chance to promote to K1.

After the interview, the teacher told me they would send the confirmation letter one month later.

I guess my daughter was okay (I guess the teacher liked her cos she asked my daughter if she could carry her).

How is your interview?  Since my son is the first batch of students to be interviewed, we do not have to wait.  how about your waiting time, accetable?

However,my son do not answer any verbal question during interview....only follow instructions to do the task

I wait for 1.5 hours.

My daughter was doing good, she answered about 90% of questions correctly.   She told the interviewer that she liked school (surprise me) and Ms. Chan.
