唔係喎~ 我聽呀女講, 今次TOBS佢地嗰班啲成績真係普遍低咗喎~ 佢話平時有九十幾分嘅同學, 今次都係得六十幾七十幾, 佢話佢係低得有道理喎~ 激死!!!

佢仲話今次呀sir都有話佢地喎~

yes, long time no see. 近日經常嘗試將個囡的 mind-set tune 到小學,常提及TSL的infrasture 及小學生活摸式。她最興奮是知道小學有小賣部, 佢叫我比張八達通佢, 佢要自已買野食喔 !!

eg 99aa comes before aa99
So 001 will come before a.

Bluestar,

You might have forgotten numerous examples that alphabets come before numbers in our daily life.

A380 : the new Airbus
A21/A41 : Airport bus
A1 : seat number
A3/A4 : paper size

To name only a few.

昨日呀女放學後要上 math remedial class, 佢話張卷攞到 A+ (不過只係 simple equations), 平時測驗考試又唔見佢咁叻喎, 吹到啤啤聲.....................

if you do ordering / sorting, say in EXCEL,
99aa comes before aa99,
i.e. numeric comes before alpha.
(I didn't explain the basis of what I wrote

)

What you referred to are some real-life use of alpha-numeric combinations, eg model numbers.

In fact, choice of alpha-numeric sequencing or numeric-alpha is subjective preference, can be anything.

Dear All Parents,

(Since my forecast / prediction last year materialized, this year I won't do any more forecasting. Touch wood. Fortunately I have a wooden desk.)

re Swine Flu

Seems that there might be more cases than the 1 reported in school e-circ, cos quite a few kids are running a fever / coughing / badly running nose, but are not diagnosed as HSF. Anyway, bad air pollution + spring weather ==> very bad for asthma and nose allergy cases + all strains of flu.

Term test starts next week, so do take care, and keep the kids in their best condition.

Thanks for your info Bluestar, it would be a disaster if school needs to shut down for a week or so due to the Swine Flu as term test is just round the corner.

I used to take my daughter for flu shoot once or twice a year but not the Swine one as really afraid of the side effects happened so far.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hoping that things are totally under control.
