if compared with other traditional primary schools, St. Stephen's 已經算輕鬆．　小朋友同家長都唔會有太大壓力．　

其實暫時每次中，英文默書都係黙生字，我知道出面有ｄ學校一開始已經一段一段咁黙，都幾驚架！

以我囝班為例，英文老師係ｎａｔｉｖｅ　ｓｐｅａｋｅｒ，　ｍａｔｈｓ老師就係本地人，不過都係用英文授課．

The dictation next week is the 2nd one, the first one was held on 25 Sept.  I think it is very reasonable and not pushy compared with other local schools.  Normally, Monday for Chinese dictation and Tuesday for English dictation, they will be held on the same day next week because coming Monday is our school holiday.  Quiz (Science and Health Education) on this Friday is also the 2nd one uptill now, doing the quiz is just like doing the worksheets in the daily lessons.

Frankly, time is less if the students join a lot of ECA after school.

仲有呀, 你地唔講我真係唔知星期一放假呀 咁做乜放假呀? 真係好彩有你地, 我而家多左個bb呢, 真係忙到死, 一返到屋企真係冇時停, 仲加上我餵人奶, 真係攰到死死下, 所以好多時真係靠你地係到交流下

班主任話英文老師係真係唔識廣東話架, 咁數學老師係全英文教學架, 我囡囡又冇話唔明喎, 不過佢地好快習慣, 所以唔洗擔心

感激你的提醒，雖然已mark 低，但生完兩"件"就冇記性，weekend玩完分分鐘忘記看schedule : :

其實有時都會問係咪我地大人對dictation, quiz, test, exam, etc. 太敏感，會唔會有extra pressure 加咗比小朋友，希望可以鎮定D啦，D仔女好叻FEEL到大人情緒架

:D To be honest, the school has 80 years of Bristish tradition, now, somewhere between "international" and "local", but I would rather say, it has its own unique style that being a "private" primary school it has the flexibility of having more reasonable (or so call "relaxed") adaptation arrangement for P1 students, eg, more native teachers, less students (around 30), less rigid rules on hairstyle and length of school dress, etc. than other "traditional schools", but it is not an "International School" as commonly quoted  :D

Hi,

I totally forgot Monday is holiday for kids.  Luckily, I'm able to read message here.

Have you gotten your music instrument yet? I called school and they said they ordered from TomLee and will let us once later. Really hope can get the instrument asap and hence my son will able to practice.
Btw, classmistress, Miss Kung are taking leave these few days. My son said the teacher Ms Lee was very nice as well.

我個女明天in. 都好緊張. 我在交表時交了portfolio, 剛才致電學校問要要帶正本, 佢話不用帶任何文件, 只帶面試証就可以啦. 所以你到時才交可能唔一定收, 過試吓啦, 唔好太担心(其實自已都做唔到). 希望大家好運

我冇參加學校既樂器班呀, 所以都唔知, 因為jasmine本身有學piano, 淨係一樣都已經夠忙啦, 因為我日日都要佢練45mins以上架, 所以真係唔可以再比佢學其他囉, 佢而家話想學口琴, 可能我會比佢學, 因為呢d當比佢興趣就唔洗佢日日練

St.Stephen's係唔需要交任何portfolio架, 所以放心, 因為我上年都問過同一個問題, 佢地話唔需要亦唔會睇, 佢地淨係睇interview表現, 佢地係冇2nd interview架, 我囡囡上年呢就話老師有用廣東話, 英文, 國語去in.不過好簡單, 我自己就淨係同個囡講去玩, 等佢唔好咁緊張, 其實佢地係想搵d開朗既小朋友, 所以唔好太緊張就ok架啦.
