諗住Econ and Chem, 讀Law 係佢興趣之一, e家要決定pre IB 科目組合好困難, 幾年後興趣可能會變,

History is not a must for, though highly regarded by, top law schools. Between History HL and Eng A HL, the latter should be chosen if one is to be picked. Other 2 HL subjects should also be sufficiently challenging. From your choices of HL subjects, there should be no problem with top law schools.

Suggestions

HL eng lit, history, and Maths or Economic or Geography

SL language ( not Chinese), and whatever you like.

No matter what you choose, must highly respect your child's interest.

有些科目不是必須的指定科，但考慮到最後那in or not in,還是有份量的傳統學科產生關鍵性效用。沒有修對學科的學生，要用更大更多的氣力來道說自己的passion, (通常第一輪已被淘汰,沒有表白的機會），top U 感覺不到申請者的passion, 多完美的總體學分也是徒然，十分可惜。

讀書最終要有興趣才會讀得好，不要計較太多,預先知道, 就提點孩子兩句,唔鍾意聽，咪由得佢咯。undergraduate 完又postgraduate, 有排讀.

Cambridge 上星期又死左個學生, 原來大學生,依然讓人擔心。

同意, 家長只可以提供意見, 最後都要由學生按自己興趣及能力決定選科, 讀自己有興趣既科目先會讀到得心應手
