聖嘉勒.  校風很好, 功課少, 而且有聯繫中學上.  只是成績不算很標青.

啟思，啟基，如果 $ 不是問題。啟基比小朋友多機會發揮，人人有份，這是其他津校沒有的，而香港小學生一般欠缺的 - 自信。

I agree with Judy.  Why do the parents want to choose schools which have lesser homework?  Is this due to lesser pressure on children or on parents?  Do they learn knowledge at schools or just play most of the time but learn little things because this can't help our kids cope with high academic requirements in the future. As parents, we need to really think about which schools that are suitable for our kids.

我女女讀禮賢小一,26人一班, 活動教學,上堂成日有IQ題,
我覺得功課唔多,好多時功課係學校做咗大部份,返屋企只係做少少,而且逢星期一、三,放學前一小時係做功課時間,所以星期一、三返到屋企差唔多無功課,星期五仲係返半日添。

In fact, some school has little homework but the quality is very good.  It requires a lot of thinking and skills.  

For example, a homework requires a P1 student to act as a reporter to interview his/her grandfather or grandmother based on a questionnaire provided by the teacher, the questionnaire has about 10 multiple choice questions.  The purpose is to let the kid to learn/understand about old people's daily life!!!  But at the same time learn how to read and ask questions correctly by himself.

完全同意。有時太多功課反而令小朋友反感，抗拒學習。試想清晨開始返學，到放學還要不停做功課，根本不會對學習產生興趣去追求知識，只是迎合家長的喜好去學習而已。 :evil:

新小拔今年第一年開校，未知道需唔需要咁，但小朋友返到嚟，又識好多英文字，相信佢行國際學校果款。

You may also consider Victoria English primary school, if higher tuition fee is not a concern.  

It has minimal repetitive homework, already IB certified, no formal exams (only assessments), high numbers of native English teachers, lessons are conducted in English or Putonghua (except P.E. and Music) and class size can be no more than 30 (as per IB requirement).

Compared to a typical international school, Victoria provides a lot more emphasis on disciplines and Chinese (Phutonghua) language development.
