我會揀Tonbridge, 無論成績和名氣都在Brighton之上, Brington在近幾年成績上得好快, 但不是傳統名校, Tonbridge當然唔洗講, 老牌名校, 近兩年成績越來越勁.

BTW, 你是經AA嗎? 我囝囝已accept左Tonbridge Year 12, 同你囝囝一樣. 如果你最後take Tonbridge, 佢地9月開始就係同學, 大家可以交流下

Yes, I tend to prefer Tonbridge as well. Just would like to get more info. about both schools. Will keep in touch with you when we finally decided to go to Tonbridge.

Elainebell, I registered with AA a year ago. They will give you all the required info.

More important, the destination of leavers from Tonbridge got 25%-30% to Oxbridge every year.

我們是上年6月找AA的, 之前都沒有什麼部署或準備, 所有事情就在半年間發生, 有些夢幻感覺. 一般學校都會要求遞交近兩年的成績表和CV, 因為剛報名時囝囝中四下學期的成績未出, 所以中二, 中三和中四上學期的成績也遞交. 囝囝成績在校內保持在全級前十, 雖然學校是band 1, 但他不是DBS, Queens這些頂級名校的學生, 所以之前都是抱著不防一試的心態去考Tonbridge.

我囝今年G9, 想2013 去讀YEAR10, 已係AA考左Brighton,Abingdon but failed 左, TOBRIDGE 係我地學校前10 位的同學才入到. IF 我想再試SIX FORM考TONBRIDGE, 係咪要G10 SUMMER 就要報?

Yes, G10 (Form 4 完左before Form 5)便要報名, 大約六七月要報, 準備近兩年的成績表.

其實，我都想問有沒外面的課程可否預備入學考試，而中三是否最易過去，中四是否很難？是否考完AA的考試就知得吾得？

It is possible to find some tuition centers for exam preparation. But it is expensive ($>800/hr). AA exam is only for screening purpose. Passing AA exam means your son will meet the minium requirement for entrance exam.
If your son will complete F.1 this year, you are applying grade 9 in 2014. Or if your son will comlete F.4, you are applying sixth form. Some parents will prefer to ' downgrade' their kids in order to fit UK system.
